PRO-TIP 1: THE THING
Voice: 3005
Time: 1 o'clock*
Mix: 3 o'clock
Filter: maximum
Repeats: minimum
Mod: 11 o'clock
*You can also use a metronome to tap in a tempo in the range h 160-166 BPM to get the tempo used for "Cathedral," by Van Halen
PRO-TIP 2: OCEAN OF SPIKES
Voice: 3205
Time: 2:30 o'clock
Mix: 4 o'clock
Filter: 1:30 o'clock
Repeats: 10 o'clock
Mod: 11 o'clock
PRO-TIP 3: PIANO STRINGS
Voice: 3205
Time: a little above minimum
Mix: maximum
Filter: 2 o'clock
Repeats: 2 o'clock
Mod: 10 o'clock
PRO-TIP 4: LOW-TECH SAMPLER
My advice for this one is to start with the Time knob either all the way down or all the way up for your starting note or chord. It's easy to get the knob back to its minimum or maximum position, so once you start moving around and pitch shifting, it will be nice if you can get back to your original note or chord just by turning the knob all the way. Otherwise, you have to find your way back to the exact spot across the range of the knob where you started, which is hard.
PRO-TIP 5: REVERB
Voice: Multi
Time: 9:30
Mix: maximum
Filter: 10 o'clock
Repeats: 4 o'clock
Mod: 2 o'clock

You show off not only cool spiky sounds this pedal can make, but how certain playing techniques can suit this pedal and vice versa. Loved the swells and the staccato with the super-short delay times, and I've never heard a reverb faked quite the way you did it but it sounds great imo, very soft without melting everything else with it. To things that are hard, but doable. o7

i kinda wanted to incorporate the other part going on in the Zelda music-in Ocarina of Time it's a fake harp-but I was on sort of a tight deadline so I abandoned that idea, and also I did think with this particular reverb sound it was moody and cool just by itself

Love On Top is such a jam. I now have my fingers crossed for a small enclosure destroyer and/or quadrature. Probably pretty low on Strymon’s priorities list…

Huh didn’t realize they put out a smaller Brigadier, which is my favorite Strymon pedal. Seems kinda weird, didn’t see many Brigadiers on people’s pedalboards and I got it super cheap compared to say an El Cap.

what luck! I was looking for a simple delay pedal to use in front of my amp for THAT EVH trick, and here is it, I WILL end up getting this one, it really nails that tone, and here I thought I had to get a super pricy EP-III tape echo clone

Already too many options of delay pedals with midi. Fx loops is what we should demand by companies now. And when I say demand I mean" no fx loop, no buy". That's the only thing companies understand...money..even the so called small indie ones.

To avoid tendonitis try using the ehx attack decay instead of your pinky. You may be disqualified in the Olympic games for using illegal substances but you ll get the sound[ more or less] and your Dr won't forbid you playing the guitar for a couple of years.
