This is actually a very good tutorial than other ones I found on the Internet. You could just put all of those variables and local functions in a Module Script to make your script look much organized, but that is just an option and only to make it organized. I will be using this in some way. Love your videos!

Genuinely no hate (disclaimer for comments), you might've noticed it yourself, and besides, it's been 3 years since your vid but you said it's equal to for a `=` operator. By now you might know the operator directly translates to "has the value of" rather than "equal to" `==`. One *assigns* the value to a variable and the other *compares* 2 variables, or in most languages, even comparing the returned object of a function. Other than that, you're a very, very great channel and I appreciate actual adults doing tutorials to the audience of all ages. I feel like adults mostly know what they're talking about but also actually have a more rich experience in conversating with different people who very much differ in ways of taking information. Which allows you to construct a universal-as-possible way to explain things to these differing people. That's worth every sub.

Hello, I enjoyed your tutorial! However, I have a reccomendation. I would rather like watching you type the code live and testing it instead of you just cutting it out and showing us new chunks of code and then just explaining them. Maybe some people like this method but for me at least going along with what youre working on seems easier then showing a "finished" product and explaining it. That aside, thank you for the video!

make an invisible part that covers the whole room, make an ontouch function that applies to all humanoids, and make the function disable the chat. make another function that is not ontouch but instead onleave, and do the same thing as before, but make it enable the chat

You automatically receive the player who triggered the prompt. You can go to their leaderstats whe nthey trigger the prompt and add whatever value to the stat. I'll see if I can release a short video on leaderboards tomorrow and include an example

I know this video was posted a year ago, but it is still very helpful! I am trying to make some weapons in my game have a longer hold duration but with the custom gui there is no indication that you are holding down "e"/receiving the weapon until the prompt disappears. I was wondering if there is a way to make the prompt slowly fade or make the bar where it says "E swap" fill in with white (maybe a circle or something it doesn't matter. I just feel it would look better if there was some sort of indication I could add to the gui using the script). I just can't seem to figure it out.
