Cybergun's fully licensed FAMAS airsoft rifle is an excellent replica of the latest generation FAMAS F1 series real steel rifle. The FAMAS Rifle is one of the forerunner Bullpup design rifles, a overhaul of the typical full-length rifle compacted down into a smaller, more effective package. Fielded by the French military, the real-steel version of this airsoft rifle saw widespread use with nearly 400,000 units produced. From muzzle to stock, this rifle was painstakingly designed over decades to be the first bullpup of it's kind and was the basis for nearly all bullpups to come.

I've had this gun for a little over a year now. Its great! Its shoots far and accurate. I have had no problems with this gun at all. The fps is about 380, I've tested it. Overall is s a great gun and I recommend it.

If anyone happens to click on this 8 year old comment, the v1 gearbox is compatible with most v2 parts. The cybergun versions use short type motors, the TM uses an unupgradeable motor. V2 gears (with proper shimming and piston) work as well. No tappet plates are available as far as I am aware. Uses a v2 cylinder and piston head, v7 cylinder head, v3 nozzle (about 20.07mm I believe), but the gears are a slightly odd size stock, smaller rhan normal, but some SHS pistons will work fine, especially if they are half rack pistons. The TM has a proprietary spring guide, and cybergun has a v2 guide I believe. It uses proprietary antireversal and on the TM an unwinding button as the original model can get locked up easily. Keep in mind the TM uses 6mm plastic bushings and those should be replaced with metal ones from zci or another reputable brand if any upgrades to the spring or gears are made, the cybergun should use metal bushings from the factory, but I am unsure about their size. The number one thibg to upgrade however should be the hop rubber and nub, and perhaps a tightbore barrel, as the cybergun ones are not the best, and the TMs are getting quite old at this point at 32 years old as the extreme. Happy upgrading to any who read this! It is really quite an easy gearbox to work on, just a PITA to get to. To access the barrel assembly is also annoying as you must take the gun apart ALL THE WAY, and please remember that there is a screw located inside the handguard that holds it together if you are attempting anything. :)

I know this is a about 3 years late however you can remove the bipod after opening up the compartment for the battery each side of the bipod is held on by a single nut I don't see why you would remove the bipod however being that it doesn't get in the way at all

A 9.6v nunchuck battery will fit and is compatible with this gun. The gun is not compatible with an 11.1v battery.

It's a proprietary magazine, unfortunately, so you can't use STANAG mags without modification.

I am a FAMAS fan. But the cybergun FAMAS looks...well... crappy. The body has gaps, I and looks and feels cheap. I know from personal experience the real FAMAS does not look or feel that way. The TM FAMAS looks much better.

Overworld Slayer actually you’re wrong. FAMAS is an acronym for “Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne.” It’s pronounced, “F.A.M.A.S.” I seriously doubt anyone would spell it out like that, so any pronunciation gets the job done.
