The sheer amount of rage it must have taken Terra to coherently exist as the Lingering Will must be staggering. It's probably the only thing keeping him together. That sort of rage is Doom Slayer levels of hate.

Yeah, Xenahort tricked him into using darkness, made him kill his master, Ven got into a coma, his body was taken. I'd be VERY pissed if that happened to me. Especially since I have about 3 or 4 years of anger built up, you bet my ass my armour is gonna stay and make sure it gets revenge. It's also willpower as well, hence why he says "So why does your mind resist!?".

His one motivation to defeat Xehanort had him exist in that armour for over 12 years. Through it all, he had a will as strong as the earth itself.

Lingering Will is basically Terra's last thought made manifest, beat Xehanort to set things right. That's why Xehanort was so perplexed, he took over his body and corrupted his heart, but the one thing Xehanort couldn't touch was Terra's sheer force of will.

Devon Barr I believe the term 'Chasers' was to refer to the fact that Terra, Ven, and Aqua were all chasing SOMETHING. Terra was chasing after Xehanort and power, Ven was chasing after Terra and friendship (I guess.) Aqua was chasing after the both of them.

I've looked into it a bit more and apparently the idea was scrapped entirely during development. If theres any remnant of the concept in the current BBS game its probably what you just described, but I'm hesitant to believe its plausible. Reason being, why would the trio have such an official title if the act of "chasing" something within the game is brought on by unexpected and irregular events?

Ben I've always thought of the Lingering Will like a Nobody in the sense that it walks around with a will of its own just like a Nobody, even with the Lingering Will not having a body or heart. So I imagine over those 10 years it has remained in the battlefield where Terra's hate was fully manifested against Master Xehanort in the first place, since the Will is driven by Terra's hate. It has had a lot of time to practice, so that's why it's now stronger.

ScottishSkarmory Yeah But the Lingering Will does not contain Terra's Soul. His Soul lies with Xemnas as the Body and Soul cannot be separated. The Lingering Will is a manifestaion of Terra's Final thoughts of stopping Xehanort and saving his friends. Those thoughts took control of Terra's Armor which we know as the Lingering Will.

Pause to see description. "Use everything you have learned" I beat him on crit and I did just that. Limits,Summons,Multi short cut menus for spells and items, my negative 3 finisher combo taking useless stuff out. Trial error and Effort.

@@MrBepis-qx5ye Maybe you were underleveled, you can beat him on critical mode with level 36-38, I defeated him somehow as level 30 on critical mode and it was absolutely awful, every attack would damage me like 1/3 of my total hp or more and these meteors would two or one shot me but I somehow managed to defeat Terranort like that

I think this has to be my favorite song among all KH series this one takes the heat. It has the passion,the drive,the purpose,the pain ,the meaning, strength,the adrenaline,the feeling of being unstoppable... maybe even magical, surreal strength and speed. Seeing swift movements evading and killing the heartless(nobodies) to reach the final boss,the climax,the pivotal moment! This aweness comes to mind. I feel the beats talking as if they were great loud chorus. The piano representing like a longing, waiting and the violin like the drive the passion. I could listen to this all day!❤

I trained my way through every Kingdom Hearts for so long and asked myself again and again if I was as good as a real keyblademaster of that time. Until a real keyblademaster stood in front of me. "Terra's Lingering Will". I knew that at that moment my skills would be measured against the skills of a real master. In the first 3 seconds of the fight I saw the inconspicuous ability of the master to transform his keyblade at his own discretion and with ease... After these 3 seconds silence reigned and I found myself floating in a black sea. I knew from then on that the keybladewar had to be the pure hell tormented by screams.
