On a side note, for PS4 and all versions, the game day 1 was like 109gb, it's now only 59gb, it's files have been compressed correctly and optimized. Also on PS4 the city doesn't feel empty anymore and I actually get annoyed with traffic instead of having no cars driving ever.

The lightposts they did on the highway are super interesting to me, some of them have 2 pieces and when you hit them they just stay essentialy the same, and then there's ones with like 50 parts that turn into a rain of pieces when you hit them. The level of detail is sometimes insanely high and then other times it's not even there.

It's really a testament to how advanced Rockstar's games are. Whatever you expect to happen can and does happen in the game. I'm glad CP2077 is improving, but even GTAIV had more complex open world behaviors and interactivity.

I gotta hand it to them, they really did make a lot of improvements to their base game and all the additional content is great too. I wasn't super happy with the gear/stat changes and nerfs to the netrunner build but it does make things more interesting. Some actual paid DLC or full expansion would be sick, I love this game (and the anime series too) and I keep coming back to it after taking long breaks so I can experience it all over again.

I had this on ps4 and couldn’t immerse myself because of crashing/ frame rate and these lack of details. then got lucky to get a ps5 shortly after and STILL couldn’t deal because it still crashed every hour and these details weren’t obviously fixed. This is definitely a big improvement. Visually it’s a lot more immersive but it still needs more work like jumping out of a car or getting thrown off your bike. I was going to buy it when it first came out but I have an Xbox One S so I thought it wouldn’t be worth the money. I even have the controller. I have a decent PC now and I’m thinking about getting it. I haven’t seen any story gameplay yet because I want to experience it all myself.

So far, they fixed bugs but not all of them (or at least 90%), they added/improved effects and particles, they still need to fix (or even add) physx/physics to at least a 2008 level, better gameplay/movement and optimize the engine. 6/10 from 2/10 so far.

@@ProtoBrown Story-wise I'd agree. I like the gun combat. The combat AI is improved but still not as engaging as I'd like personally. In terms of bugs it's a big improvement. But overall experience is still no higher than a 7 with the game as a whole. They still need to tweak gameplay features, and they definitely need to overhaul the police AI/Hunt/Chase systems. Biggest problem with the game is that it tried doing too much at once. Have good graphics, tons of AI, and so on. They tried to be a Rockstar game and a CDPR game. It tried to be GTA 5, 1st person shooter, and an RPG all rolled into one. That and the fact that I think too much money went into non game development stuff. Like advertising, hiring famous people to voice characters, and creating their own licensed music with real music artists. GTA 5 just used licensed music and music artists release as singles anyway. But CDPR wanted to take it a step further and create new music specifically for the game and to fit the universe. Artists like ASAP Rocky probably weren't cheap to work with lol.

The quests and story are actually why most people continue to play. Unfortunately a lot of people rush through it and skip the dialogue. The combat can't even hold the game until like act 2. The story is so insanely important for keeping you hooked, but unfortunately a lot of players are inexperienced with RPGs and their play style, or think every side quest is radiant or low quality like Skyrim, but that's not the case.

Still not touching this till they release a 3rd person perspective option. Their reasoning behind it being absent is what pissed me off the most; they're gonna act like they did it for the sake of the immersion, but then they let you drive around in 3rd persion, which is just hypocritical. If it's such a principle then commit to it 100%. If anything it's twice as immersion breaking when the camera suddenly cuts from 3rd to 1st person upon car crash like 6:30, the sudden transition just pulls you out of it and reminds you you're playing a game.

I started playing the game just last week. And while I think it's pretty good as a whole, the city seems a bit slow I think. Compared to something like sleeping dogs where the Hongkong streets and sidewalks were bustling with activity, the city seems a bit lifeless to be honest. Still like it though.

I really don’t understand the comparison to RDR 2 with this game. That was developed in 8 years with all of Rockstars studios so roughly 2000 employees. CDPR developed this game in 4-5 years with 500 employees max. Of course it ain’t gonna be as good, but playing on PS5 patch 1.6, I attest it’s a pretty solid experience. With an industry full of remakes, reboots, and sequels, it’s refreshing to see something new

I've always liked this game, though mostly its story. I'm glad the game is improving, and on behalf of CDPR they haven't given up on this work. I am looking forward to seeing the follow-up DLC, and I will pay for it if the next generation is released. BTW I don't think saint row can be saved... Cyberpunk 2077 was much better than saint row even when the bugs were not fixed at the beginning, at least no one said that the story of 2077 was bad.

Me pasó exactamente lo mismo. Estaba entre el Doom Eternal o el Cyberpunk. Me hizo ilusión por haberme gustado The Witcher 3 y me llevé toda una decepción al punto de que actualmente ni terminé el juego y ya hasta lo vendí para conseguirme un ordenador, aún con eso, me la paso dudando si comprarmelo o no.

Why are people saying that Cyberpunk is now a proper game? I just downloaded it again, while sure they improved a few things, it's still missing core features. Police is still not existant, I have constant cut out of ambient sounds, which didn't happen on 1.0 - 1.4 that I played before. I get random crashes in missions that I haven't had before the 1.6 patch. Overall, this game is far from what was promised and all this hype around it currently is absolutely blown out of proportion. The game remains an ambitious project which got rushed for a quick $ and there is not yet a redemption story like NMS. Maybe in a year or two.

It's redemption might be closer than you think. Thanks to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on Netflix which is why the hype exists, the game has seen a resurgence in Players. In case you don't know Edgerunners is now one of Netflix's most successful and popular shows. It's a show almost everyone loved. It's essentially doing to Cyberpunk to what Arcane did for League of Legends.

Do you really want a full cyberpunk experience? Play the tabletop game. That pitiful excuse for a game deserves to be forgotten to oblivion. And everyone defending it is just commercial cattle, the kind of people in society that makes possible for the corporations to release unfinished garbage and to make false advertising, and still get away with it and make lots of money. The game may be good, but that's not the entire problem here. All the cogs of the game industry were used to deceive us, with false advertising, false reviewing, fake gameplays and etc. . If you value yourself as a person and a gamer, you shouldn't buy it just for yourselves sake.

I pirated it, and even for free it sucks on 1.6, you can see how tens of objects just appear out of nowhere in front of you while driving/running. Even with mods it's still noticeable

It's the fine details that makes the game feel more alive and interesting. Those small details can go a long way. I can also name plenty of games that are better than some R* games, but that doesn't mean Rockstar's games are bad

@@grigorecosmin I'm sorry man, if you have played GTA V, then you know that there are plenty of interactions with water. Every detail in a game is important for it's success and longevity. It's not just about bullets hitting water and there are dripple effects and water waves. Sure R* tends to go overboard with details as we have seen in RDR2, but those details aren't there for everyone, it's for those who are genuinely interested in seeking those fine details. They want to cater to those hardcore people that do care about those details as well. And as someone who is studying Game Development myself, I think it's good that devs put in the effort for the small demographics

But in the same Cyberpunk, I found few pluses, and even a comparison of the details of Cyberpunk and Saints Row, Saints Row turned out to be better. Cyberpunk has a soul, but the game came out mediocre, and I don't care if the developers were in a hurry. I am a consumer and as a consumer I did not like the game.

Honest, when I first got the game for my ps4 I could not run the game without updating it to its current version because the base game that was released was just unplayable, but now I think cyberpunk definitely has to be one of my favorite games just because of the story and how it plays, reminds me a lot of dying light imo I love what the developers have done with the game.

One of the biggest problems I had was starting a new game, it takes like an hour and half to actually start playing this game, it's not just the prologue or tutorial part but having to do the braidance tutorial which you can't skip and not to mention the bugs at the time, it really gave me a bad experience so it's hard to want to pick this up again

They added the ability to skip the braindance tutorial. I agree tho I feel like the intro chapter drags on for too long. Then you get to the point where you can actually explore freely and they immediately break your car and force you to do a quest to get it fixed lol. Also feel like the pacing of the story is not conducive to the exploratory nature of open world games. Doesn't really make sense for V to be doing a bunch of side work for random people when he/she is literally dying and is racing against the clock to prevent themselves from dying.

Well now they have more people, more funding, lol and a new engine for the squeal cos the current one they built and only used for Cyberpunk 2077 the developers couldn't add all the features they wanted. I do believe the next singleplayer witcher and coop/singleplayer witcher game will go through what Cyberpunk 2077 went though but on a minor scale

I played this game at launch and I didn't like it, I finished it but the amount of bugs was beyond description, I also had just a gtx 1060 and this certainly didn't help the performance of the game. I feel like this game deserves to be replayed, I hope to have time and to see some more patches, even the 1.6 version has a lot of bugs and AI is dull.
