Just started a new run on Very Hard using your latest Netrunner build. Watching this at the same time. I'm going for maximum cyberware Capacity and being really careful, saving often. Knowing my luck though something will slip through the cracks and I won't know until end game. I've got 5 green shards before doing the All Foods mission though.

I'm doing a fresh run on very hard too. Im maxing body and tech for survival and tech weapons. It's pretty fun and effective. Tech pistol Chaos, tech shotgun and tech sniper rifle works pretty well.

obs in allfoods quest (the pickup), if fighting against maelstroms, u will not get the access to the malstroms weapon vendor and not the chance to get the dumdum revolver (killing dumdum) in a second encounter with the maelstroms, even if saving Brick😢

As explained in the video the dumdum is not worth it. You would lose the Chaos and the Mealstrom jacket and a ton of money

58:00 i disagree on the freedom of choice part. i always leave straight away, and not pick up the gun because it's iconic and you'll have to upgrade it later. i start doing regina's gigs and ncpd, wait on the victor visit till level 10 because then you get green items for free, do The Ride straight after, and if you sleep frequently, always having 10% Rested experience boost on, and do all 5 cyberpsychos, you will precisely get to last gig on lvl17 when Hypercritical drops on Tier 3 (blue), and you get Axolotl for free. Then you do The Pickup which gives about 2 levels, and you should also leave 2 Organized Crime activities which drop Buzzsaw and Psalm schematics till level 19. when you do them you are right over threshold of 20, have about 200k which you spend on Tier 3 cyberware, and you stock up on about 300 Tier 3 components. Then you go do the Heist with schematics, because while they confiscate weapons on entrance, they leave you with components and schematics. And then you just craft Buzzsaw and Psalm in Yorinobu's suite (straight to tier 3+, 40 for 3 and another 75 components for 3+ which gives 230 and you also have some components left to use on grenades) and highly likely you also have some grenade schematics too. And believe me, it's huge fun melting Arasaka's heavies when you have Psalm and Buzzsaw and grenades. Having Tier 3 cyberdeck with cyberware malfunction + synapse burnout helps too. and then just focus on main with Judy \ VDB to unlock Dogtown, because you need to enter stadium on lvl 30 (ends up being 31-32) to have cyberware shard in the blue van scaled to max.

Thats all amazing, but involves serious grinding before even starting the game. There is no need to be that powerful during the heist, and unlocking the whole city is more important for me. Just doing the Beat on the brat will give you more money much quicker the Axolotl can be purchased and delayed to Dogtown, as you wont have enough cyberware, equipping it before you have Edgerunenrs will make you build much worse, there is no need to get Axolotl before level 30. The sleep XP boost should be 20%, unless they nerfed it.

@@T7PDM no need to be, but fun to be. 23 gigs take about 10h if those that require stealth are done on stealth. Also, Axolotl early on, between 17 and 30 lvl is quite significant difference from my first playthrough when i didn't know this. I'd even say it's more significant than doing 8 gigs for Byakko. Also due to crazy amount of fighting through ncpd gigs, you get all dropping shards (basically only missing Regina's shard for Cyberpsychos nonlethal, and all dogtown shards). By lvl 18 i easily got to circa 160+ capacity, axolotl took 50 and i still had space for good cyberdeck, biomonitor, tendons, etc. I basically cleaned all watson , except The Gun and monks in the northwest quest, to get Iconics at lvl33 for Tier 5 or 41 for 5+. as mentioned before, schematics for psalm and buzzsaw i took after 17.

I would only recommend to use Axolotl when you have the Egderunners perk, otherwise you are losing big on Cyberware. Better focus on the recommended cyberware from the low level builds: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d2SzY2h4mLJ4jtU It mentions to add Axolotl as soon as you get Edgerunners. PS: For netrunners its not needed to use Axolotl at all the additional extenstion of Axolotl is 1s compared to 3 secs from the legendary synapse burnout.

@@T7PDM hmm, i use both axolotl and synapse burnout. Like i don't have a pure pure netrunner, i have a stealth netrun by default but can grind some heavies if shit hits the fan kind of build. Also i stopped seeing a point in Int 20, because when used on adam smasher, quadruple queue just immediately refills his ICE and you do no damage, so ironically 3-hack queue on him is better. And i still use second heart, it's too good (though i did switch from blood pump to heal on kill like you recommended). My go-to is either Tech 20, int 16, other 15, or Tech Int 20, Cool 11, other 15

@@wonderlustking6735 Every level of intelligence increases your quickhack DPS. Even if you dont use queues, going for Intelligence 20 is an absolute must, to get the max DPS for your quickhacks.

SMGs are the weakest weapons. You can make them powerful, but it will require some very special items which can only be acquired in dogtown. Check out the rifle build.
