@@skp413 There is no way to get there, its either completely cheated, or if they are big enough they had access to a pre release 2.0 development version. 452 is definitely no legitimate value. PS: Regina is giving you another +6 legendary shard now.

You have to be very careful and collect all the green, blue and epic loot even on higher levels. Just loot everything, I managed to miss only 6, that will give me 348 at the end of my playthrough, or 344, with 4 attributes over 9.

There is a mod which implements a atelier store that sells cyberware capacity shards. I found that to be a semi reasonable solution if I missed shards.

Agreed. I have over 700 hours dunked into Cyberjank 2077. It is a lot of fun, like, wowee, it is a lot of fun. Just, two things that stand out to me: 1.) The designers are too stupid to think more than one step ahead, and 2.) the developers never actually test anything they make, ever. God bless mods.

I always wondered why I was never even able to get to 300, I never bothered looting anything green, I always loot epic (purple) quality only unless its a legendary, I had no idea the shards were limited...

Not a perfect solution, but when you encounter them bodies that cannot be looted (the ones that you can reach, but no loot menu pops up), a quick save/load will typically fix it, allowing you to loot it. There is still the occasional ones that fall below the floor, etc, which this does not work on, but that is luckily a far more rare occurrence.

If you're on PC you can also just use a Mod that's called "Cyberware Capacity RNG Removed" this will remove the shards from the game and increase the amount of cyberware you gain per level so you have max achievable capacity by LVL60

Good video. I havnt started Dog Town yet, but just completed all missions minus the point of no return and have a capacity of 321. All cyberware filled with legendary, but only one is Iconic. Ive been wanting to max so I can have fury more but it seems i need more iconics.

@@gamersanonymous4me131 After playing with it more, ive noticed even randomly killing a single enemy can trigger fury. Its the edgerunner settings that can add a value from 0.1% - 5% total fury chance at full edgerunner (using all 50 edgerunner capacity). So in theory, even if you trick/glitch the system to have more cyberware capacity, you wouldnt want to take it past 450 naturally, so you can still get the full 5% fury chance from edgerunner. Unless edgerunner would just stack on existing capacity (havnt seen anyone test that yet).

I wasted a whole day raising my capacity to 700 only to find out that the ripper bug and not activating my edge runner perk so what I did is raise my capacity to the amount of capacity that will allow me to gain just enough from my remaining levels and skills to get me to 424 in my case was 331 at level 35 a easy fix would be to just set the limit to 424 and lower some cyberware capacity to be completely borged out at that level and making the edge runner perk add 50 to your current value up until 374

I was able to reach 430 cyberware capacity with the compressor. I was at 424 at level 60, and finishing the Cyberpsycho quest granted me a Tier 5 shard (+6 capacity). In my 3 previous playthroughs I reached 424, even when I left the Cyberpsycho quest for last. So I guess it also depends a bit on luck or the sequence and level we do the quests that grant cyberware capacity shards.

@@martakarolinazmyslowska6903 Any perk shards you pick up will be lost if you hard reset your build to re-spec (as in refund all blue "attribute" and gold "perk" points) "only one reset per playthrough is allowed, but you loose all shard pickup points entirely. I had to go watch videos that show perk shard locations just to get my build back to where it was on points, as i had lost 5 or 6 points after reset.

So far i did manage to reach a max capacity of 342. And i have not even touched Phantom Liberty yet. So i think i got all the shards as i am pretty fierce on collecting everything even from bodies. If it does not work save and reload the game. That should fix the looting of the body. That said some advice for all players of this game. Loot everything and explore carefully. Even if you think you do not need it. There are so many ways in which you can use lesser loot and rewards. I am pretty sure it made 3 quarters of my fortune lol. Dissasembling it at least for components and crafting better ones. Components to craft have not been a issue for me for a long time as i grinded alot during the beginning of the game once the map was open. And i am still doing that now that i am getting Tier 4 to Tier 5++ weapons exclusively. How well you do in this game is decided by patience and a keen eye. And maybe the unhealthy tenacity of hogging like a hamster. Because come on..who doesn't love loot.

The Mod "Simple Menu". It's got everything you want to have or remove, items or to customize your stats. Want every single car in the game? Bam it's yours. Remove shards its got you covered. But I admit it makes the game too easy.

The 54 shards in the base game can drop from any random enemy, the problem is rather that you likely forgot to loot them. You can use the method shown in the video to find out what shards are missing and add them.

I saw pretty quickly the cyberware capacity shards dropping on dead bodies, and I may not always loot every body, I at least check every one I can so I don't miss any skill shards, or any other kind of shard. In your video you state they drop in order of rarity, but after checking my saves, I haven't been picking them up in order. Every time I pick one up, it adds it to the bottom of my list in the save, and either they don't drop in order or I have missed about half, and that's not possible. They are way out of order in my list. Maybe they are coming from containers causing them to be out of order.

If you start a new game, they will drop in the order of rarity. 7x green, 4 rare, 4 epic then 2 legendary alongside with your level increase. If you are already high level before you collected any shards, for example by loading a legacy save file, enemies can drop them in any order. But the amount per rarity is still fixed.

435 max, ive played around with it. 435 is the recommended highest you should go.

424 is the legitimate max, that is reachable by playing normally including the chrome compressor. 435 is not reachable by current game design. It may be a safe value to play with, but not legitimate.

Hmm I’m on Xbox and I’ve been stuck at 345 for ages,, I’ve done all the cyber psycho things almost all of the criminal activity ones and reported crimes and assault in progress. I’m a loot goblin to basically grab the lot but I have a feeling I’ve missed some stuff because it’s seeming to be stuck for me. Ah well will have to try harder in the next play through

If you dont use the chrome compressor, you are almost maxed out. 354 would be the max if you have all attributes at over 9 and 350 would be the max with 4 attributes over 9, so you are only missing very few shards. (5 or 9 capacity at max). It is almost impossible not to miss a few. Maybe you can ask a friend of yours to add the missing shards for you.

I found a way to loot body's that won't let you loot them save next the body's and reload the game it will fix that for u And remember real heroes don't wear capes

Always use the AutoLoot mod, it's no cheating, just QoL, making it easier to pick loot.

I played PL on 2.02 and I dont recall getting a single capacity shard. Was this fixed in 2.1? I dont recall getting any capacity shards in main game as well. Just lots of XP shards for stuff I already maxed.

There have definitely been shards in any version of 2.0x AND 2.1. You probably didnt bother looting low quality stuff. You can use this method to add the shards, which are missing.

No matter how hard you try it impossible to collect everything. The game will drop them in situations where they simply cannot be looted and they are lost forever. Especially the green and blue shards can easily be missed.

You only get 15 capacity from engineering skill progression in total. At 333 you seem to be high level, so your skill progression might have already unlocked these.

After the update, I'm missing 7 pieces of cyberware. I have the chromed perk. I think it was 340, I was + 20 or 30 over limit. Playthrough LVL 56 RN. Hours of game play and Eddie's reinvested into cyberware I was now missing. Still Unable to equip 3 pieces of cyberware do to being over cyberware limit. Even with the perk. And making the other perks useless because they require the full spec of chrome. Or certain body parts to be filled. Mildy infuriating CDPR!

The base game shards will drop in the order of rarity, first 7x green, then 4x rare, then 4 epic, then 2 legendary. If you suddenly get a higher rarity shard without the right amount of the previous ones, it means you missed one. You will get another 5 shards in dogtown. These count seperately. When you start a new game the majority of the 7 green capacity shards are dropped during the Pickup mission with the mealstroms, you will likely have looted all base game shards at level 25 normally. If you used an old save from version 1.6, things can be completely broken and you might not get all the shards.

l always loot everything because I was aware of that. I even made a list in my phone which shards I got and how many of them. But in my last 4 playtroughs I never came over 300 WITH edgerunner and all skills.... I own PL. and in my current playtrough I've got 42 capacity trough shards. between level 26 and 28 I mostly get the second legendary shard and then no more. for example I got only 3 green shards in this PL and how I said I ALWAYS loot EVERYTHING. So this system is definitley broken :-(

I loot everything, everyone, everywhere, every time. I missed nothing. I figured there’s still secrets to be found- rare items hidden out there that haven’t been uncovered. I was jacked up with cyberware/chrome, unstoppable & unmovable(literally at times with the capacity). I started stripping it all down to the basics.. I’m playing a pure build now.. if it’s a netrunner, it’s pure netrunner.. no double jump, no armor, no mantis blades or any guns, knives, or swords.. just mono-wire, cyber deck, and my brain hacked with the utmost top notch cyberware for RAM, Cooldown, and quick hack capabilities- including the perks, no body, pure tech/intel, cool.. remain in the shadows unseen, unheard, but deadly.. same goes for Sandy, Berserk, Ninja, etc.. I want to do an almost human build.. bare bones armor.. rely on wit, weapons, and will power.. sniper build.. all long distance combat out of range. Then my Anti-MaxTac Build.. Berserk and pure muscle/speed..

You can not have more than 360 without chrome compressor and 430 with chrome compressor at max level including all shards. If you have more, then you used a duplication glitch and your save and build is not legitimately possible. This creates several unfair advantages, including a lot more health from not being in the red capacity zone. At the moment there is no new game plus or any legitimate way to farm more cyberware capacity than what was shown in the video.

Theres a fix on ps5 at least, on the cyberware screen pressing R3 + O in quick succession puts the meter back on the screen allowing you to then change your gear normally at a ripperdoc.

And exactly for the reason they decrease the possibilities of capacity with every update it's a reason for me not to play it anymore. They didn't even fix the ram loading problem where you die at 600% ram reloading. So crazy net runner uploads are impossible. Buggy as hell. Ruined gameplay. With 1.6 it was buggy. But the builds were more fun.

Some people may prefer not to cheat and rather play within the limits of a game. Optimizing a build with a given number capacity is more of a challenge than being able to use everything at the same time.

CDPR have serious issues with game design and perks/builds. Even in 2.1 there is a lot of balance problem (for example the number of iconics per weapon category LMG/Pistols, level 20 perks are rather meh, LMG one is utter useless, Intelligence queue perks bonus and upload speed are conflicting and it's going on...).

Great guide T7 Cyberware Capacity Shards could have been made so much more simpler by CDPR. For example the vendor at Dogtown where you can get an addition perk shard and that's it no option to buy again. It should have been the same to buy 80+ capacity and job done no issues for players.

Maybe that is a safe value, but the intended limits by the current game design are 424 with chrome compressor, and 354 ( or 350 with 4 attributes over 9) respectively, so anything beyond that can not be called legitimate. I would not go beyond this and use it only to fix what is broken.
