Cyberpunk 2077 - Aggressive stealth kills

This game doesn't get enough credit for how expansive the on-foot traversal is. Climbing up on rooftops and exploring the lesser seen areas of the city is one of my favorite parts of the game. It was clearly an intentional part of the game, the devs hid plenty of loot in some of these areas. I even found a couple legendary blueprints/weapons because of the parkour.

Unfortunately the average gamer is lazy as fuck and won't dig into a videogame's mechanics unless he's told to, that's why so many people still think that Cyberpunk 2077's gameplay is "boring"... To be fair i also blame develloppers who make their game so easy in the "Normal" difficulty that people don't even have to learn the mechanics to beat those games, it's sad.

@@wisetank135 It's not really the AI that is the problem it's simply that some builds are too OP and ruin the balance, particularly time slowing, quickhacks, headshots and shooting through walls. In Very Hard it starts pretty damn challenging but then can become a walk in the park as soon as you get powerful in one of those things. But try an "in your face" (like with shotgun) build with none of these and it will stay challenging for a long time.

Seriously, the double jump has to be the best cybernetics in the entire game. It opens up so many tactical options !

Yeah, sadly the charge jump doesn't compare to it. It's a little too clunky and has less utility than the double jump, especially in hectic situations. It needs a bit of a buff.

@@ExceedProduction I only had a charge jump, but next play I'll go for the double jump. I assumed the charge pump had a higher leaping ability for some reason compared to the double jump.

@@cgeorge3785 It does, it's just very clunky to use. Like, the double jump is instantly available and you don't really need to focus on it, whereas the charge jump needs both time and attention. You can also have both in the same playthough, you know? Just buy the other upgrade, then you can switch between them whenever you want.

@@idontfwyt not that I know of. Perhaps this is how the devs decided to balance attachements. Maybe there are mods out there that enable stealth ricochet idk.

MAD props for doing this WITHOUT the Kerenzikov/Slow Time thing that everyone else seems to use. It's the one that triggers when you slide and allows you to aim, reload, and shoot while sliding. We've all seen tons of videos with that but this? This is next-level art!

My favourite thing in Cyberpunk mechanics was not having to be crouching to get stealth kills. Makes perfect sense. Always irritated me in games when stealth required crouching. What damn difference does it make to the person being shot in the back of the head if I was standing up or not.

Would have been nice if they'd nailed the free-running animation and feel as well as Mirror's Edge did, but jack of all trades rules applies, I guess. It still looks very very cool considering how diverse the entire game appears to be in terms of what you can do -- NB: Haven't actually played it yet due to ...good reasons.

Wait what are the good reasons? I have a Series X and nice OLED TV and it’s the most beautiful and immersive game I’ve ever played. Runs flawlessly and looks hyper realistic. The screen videos people share look like whatever animations but if you play it on a good setup it’s breathtakingly beautiful and immersive! And the action is amazing!!

I was pretty disappointed with the game honestly. I never experienced any glitches or technical issues, but I couldn't get into it. It's got great graphics, a cool world, and decent mechanics and all that, but the gameplay felt bad imo.

You can parkour a lot in the game , I found myself entering buildings by jumping and sprinting from different angles if I didnt have enough points on Body or Technical ability to enable the presented doors.

@@strixzahven2742 You need a Ballistics Coprocessor in your Arms cyberware slot to be able to ricochet shots with Power weapons, BUT then you ALSO need the Trajectory Generator "fragment" for your Kiroshi eye cyberware to see the red lines when aiming with a Power weapon. BUT there is also a perk called In Perspective that makes a bullet ricochet 2 more times... AND there are also various weapons that mix this up, such as Johnny's Malorian Arms which ricochets when hip-fired but fires through walls if you aim it.... I THINK that's everything but there are probably other items that mess with this as well. Do any of the cyberdecks give ricochet buffs?

Aggressive stealth is my favorite method for anything. Plus, clearing everyone out means that if you missed anyone, you know because they're moving.

This is exactly how I've wanted to play from the very start, but I guess you have to be pretty intentional about character build because I made it this far without a single pistol that could kill with one head shot without alerting all the enemies

The legendary unity pistol that you can buy from the vendor near your apartment s expensive but I managed to get it very early in game after knocking out all the sidequests before the Arasaka heist, stack it with damage and crit modifiers and it absolutely smokes anything in its path, wasnt even level 20 yet when I got my hands on it, only has gotten more deadlier since.

I'm a frais I won't be able to help you with that. This was recorded a long time ago on a save I no longer have, and I think some things have been changed about the perks I had. But it was stealth focused with a lot of bonus damage to headshot while undetected

Тут настройки наверное и разрешение маленькие.Я играл и в 2 к и в 4 к и с ртикс ,везде оч красиво выглядит, особенно ночью или при разных погодных условиях .Геймплей простой,даже на Макс сложности.Но вариативность интересная и куча пушек разных + с не пассивным способностями.Во всяком случае в локацию всегда оч много входов ,есть стелс ,хакинг,различные виды вооружения (умное,которое простреливает через стены и электромагнитное).Ну хотелось бы ,чтобы игра была глубже,по типу дума,где надо под каждого врага свой подход или слабые места и пушки надо.Но с другой стороны оч мало где такое есть,киберпанк и так среди игр с открытом миром и так варитивен очень в геймплее,если сравнивать с обычными экшенами где есть и стелс и стрельба .
