So after hundreds of hours playing Cyberpunk, experimenting with builds, exploits and making combat montages i finally decided to share the builds from some of those - starting off with this all-in netrunner guide 😎
btw I forgot to mention clothing in this video. There are certain clothing pieces like the netrunner visor that have some nice perks so they can definetely be helpful with this build 😎 If it comes to clothing mods though, then i would go for hackslinger for the hat slot, 4% crit chance for the glassess and the rest with armadillo 😎

One tip I'd give that synergizes with this build and high (18) Reflex is to invest in the legendary Kerenzikov that can be purchased from Octavio's Clinic at Arroyo, Santo Domingo. This gives you access to a very powerful time dilation effect similar to what a Sandevistan does which is activated by dodging while aiming. All versions are useful but the legendary version slows time down by 90% for 3.5 seconds with a very short 5 second cool down. It's basically the closest you can get to having a Sandevistan and cyberdeck at the same time.

@@Ecliptor. agreed. I ended up switching out the tuner for the one ☝🏻 I forget the name but it lets you dodge in mid air triggering the Kerenzikov. Makes for super fun cyber Ninja play.

Indeed, I didn't even need to put one step into a building in the end to clear it. Just hack into the camera system from the outside, switch from one to the other and apply contagion onto every target found in every room which you can easily find with ping anyway. Then you can leisurely walk through the building harvesting all the juicy stuff. It is OP but it also gets boring really fast, unfortunately. I didn't even carry any weapon or armour with me. Unnecessary...

For the first few levels I would recommend another quickhack: sonic shock. At higher levels this makes the enemy you're targetting unable to request backup, which means that if you cn't oneshot them they won't raise the alarm because they are cut off from the system. Also, in the early, early game whistle works wonders for stealth takedowns. It's an on-demand distract enemy and can help you break groups of 3 and during the Konpaki Plaza stealth sections, it's a blessing. Finally, a legendary sonic shock spreads with every quickhack that affects an enemy but puts them on medium alert so if you have legendary ping, ping an area, they are unable to call back up on you and you can clear them from a vantage point.

@@Endemoniada The behavior is: go to location where whistle originated, then start investigating. So, yes, they will circle hiding spots. To use it correctly is to whistle, then relocate to blind spot while they are waddling over there, then takedown from behind/above or w/e you wanna do.

Netrunner builds with Short Circuit are awesome, I have 3 in reflexes and still mow down everything when I (rarelly) need to pull my gun. I recommend Divided we stand and Yinglong, that's all you need for all fight scenarios in the game.

@@xx3uddhaxx If you can get all the legendary hacks you want there is no need to go to 20 besides a little more QH damage and QOL. I love jack of all trades builds and usually go with 16 int but since patch 1.5 quickhacks never drop from any access points anymore, so I have to go 20 for netrunners.

@@rhodan74 I’m on ps5 and am aware of the bug but had no issue. I farmed all the legendary Quickhacks with a few quick saves. Others were more stubborn, I’ve read lvl 10 access points are best but I have gotten them from lvl 7 and above. Lvl 42 still at 18 intelligence

@@xx3uddhaxx Nice, if you wanna spam "suicide" & "detonate grenade", int20 is the way to go imo, if you wanna lock everything down with cripple movement/sonic shock passives and execute everyone point blank, int16 is enough :). With int16, maybe even int18 you can put enough points into body to equip/trigger "Bioplastic Blood Vessels" cyberware to fully heal after using "Memory wipe" QH. All depends on your preferred playstyle. In my experience, cold blood 20 offers more than enough tankiness even on a body3 build.

There are exactly 10 perk shard locations as they added new locations, but also removed old locations. Although one location has randomized loot that is determined when you start the game, so if you are unlucky there are only 9 perk shards in your game. Legendary quickhacks from access points is something you will not see for quite some time as getting them is based on difficulty AND character level. This means even with only 3 intelligence its possible to get legendary quickhacks as a high-level character. On the other end if your character level is low you will not get legendary quickhacks. Datamine Virtuoso just increases your chances to get quickhacks from access points, but is not required at all. Having a low level is probably the reason why some players report that it doesn't work for them. Regarding cyberware I strongly recommend Self-ICE in the early levels for the stealth netrunner when you can't oneshot enemies with quickhacks yet. It stops enemies from tracking your location, but has a cooldown. Even after that it remains somewhat useful until you get legendary Sonic Shock as its passive effect fully stops location tracking. Regarding cyberdecks all of them have a niche - the Tetratronic Rippler Mk.4 is great but is missing out on Contagion kills in midgame on higher difficulties. The NetWatch Netdriver Mk.5 can achieve that with more damage, but also the Stephenson Tech Mk.4 can do this for Contagion because of the longer duration and faster upload speed. Regarding arm cyberware I prefer Gorilla arms as they help you with the Beat on the Brat quests and give you up to 6 extra points for body door requirements. I'm not big fan of Big Sleep or Turret Shutdown as they have a timer that may run out while you are in front of a camera/turret. In my point of view its much more effective to just disable cameras/turrets permanently via quickhack, especially if you have legendary Ping which allows hacking devices through walls ... but thats just my preference. There are also some interesting niche perk interactions: the perk Burn Baby Burn under Annihilation doubles your Overheat duration helping it ramp up huge amounts of damage. Under Ninjutsu the perk Corrosive Poison works on Contagion, but Toxicology does not. Regarding quickhacks the legendary Sonic Shock is mandatory for me on a stealth netrunner as it prevents enemies from tracking you, which turns the game into easy mode even more.

I like also having Synapse Burnout equipped for its legendary passive (defeating an enemy with any quickhack causes nearby enemies to panic) because it goes well with the Suicide quickhack legendary passive (causing an enemy to panic reduces the RAM cost of your next Ultimate quickhack by 2)

I did something very similar with my first playthrough, but was unsure of what weapon I wanted to use. In the end, I bolstered Tech, because regardless of the type of weapon, if it was a Tech weapon it was good in my hands. Fell in love with the Lizzie when I found it.

You can get the legendary quickhacks at level 2 in Watson (access points require 7 int). There's quest location in the north-east near the all foods where you end up in one of the later quests lines after following a car. I think it's the Dream On quest line or something.

Nice work choom, this shit is all totally legit. I commend you son. The Netrunner control hybrid with fists of steel is my fave niche glass cannon. Use "whistle" then "sonic shock" and "cripple movement" to make a private "by invitation only" fight club to gain XP and level body and athletics for the progression rewards. Twenty INT plus Gorilla arms FTW!

best trait combo for straight up combat spec would: body+reflex+cool; while best net runner traits are reflex+cool+logic. After patch 1,6, V can be leveled up all the way to lvl 25 by the time you step foot into the Kanpeki Plaza Hotel ( on the hardest dificulty), just do all the side missions first. This way you’ll have paid off the debt to Viktor, bought some decent gear ( net runner builds should NOT focus on crafting under any circumstance!) and cyber mods, aswell as unlocking some decent daemons for your cyberdeck. After “the heist”, when V can roam the entire map, buying the right cyberdeck means everything. There are 2 main choices: the legendary deck from the voodoo boys ripper, or the one from the Heywood ripper. One makes ultimate hacks ( suicide, detonate nade, cyberpsycosis) able to jump to multiple targets, the other one increases the jump range and adds the ability to double upload regular hacks (contagion, overheat, short circuit). Quick mention to the author: legendary optical camo can be bought at the ripper doc found at the base of the dam, in Santo Domingo. Tip: if players want to run a netrunner spec V, but also want to play non-lethal, get the ocular cybermod that turns all weapons non-lethal, works on all quickhacks except cyberpsyco and detonate grenade. But it requires a smart weapon link in the hand slot to work properly.

sigh... no Inteligence - get the legendary Qhacks Tech - get all the tech weapons perks get the Widowmaker tech rifle (before act 2 just use whatever gives you most hits in given timeframe with the best crit chance) slot in Legendary Short Circuit (also get the NetWatch NetDriver mk.5 deck in act 2 asap so you can shot circuit+overheat 6 targets at the same time before the combat even begins ...) up the crit which is easy due to being able to craft legendary crip mods - you know the reason why CRAFTING RULES even for netrunner build .. voila - what you cant quickhack to death outright you can either shotgun due to Widowmaker firing six projectiles which can each separatelly crit which procs the damage from LSC passive - or you can just shoot throuigh walls due to ridiculousness that is tech weapons picking off fools from complete safety. for last stat i went with Body to get all the HP increasing chrome (having ALMOST 800 hp combined with cr*pload of armor due to crafting bonuses and having everything crafted up to legendary and upgraded to the max ...) and shotguns for fun when i got bored of oneshotting everything ... to oneshot everything from upclose :) zero need to invest into reflex or cool when one shot from the Widowmaker uncharged does anywhere around 15-20k combined damage that build is basically walking tank terminator with all the benefits of netrunner quickhacks on top of that ...

@@Asghaad friend, just because you enjoy using the widowmaker, it doesn't mean it's the best weapon. Because the best weapon for net runner builds is the Yinglong, since that one turns your crits hits into EMP grenades, if you have a legendary "Short circuit" sloted in your cyberdeck. Also, you need to remember that all tech weapons get their damage boosted by reflex and by the perks in Assault (for smart rifles and smg's), Handgun ( for smart pistols) or Annihilation ( for tech shotguns) not from Engineering. And you can't deny the fact that in terms of survival "Cool" beats all other atributes by a mile, because it boosts crit damage and resistances. Also, you might wanna have a look at the "Cold blood" perks.

Yinglongs EMP chance is not tied to crit and is not high enough to be reliable 2. why would you even need EMP effect when anything you hit dies in one hit ... well at least with Widowmaker it does 3. Widowmaker shoots 6 projectiles at once which means instant death to anything you hit, Ying is ordinary Smart SMG, nice rate of fire yes but rate of fire nonetheless, to get the same ammount of projectiles on target you need to spend whole second firing it 4. Widowmaker works both close range - as a shotgun - and long range as precision rifle Ying is unreliable "smart" gun that will change targets on you randomly, hit every obstacle in the way at random and other "smart" features of "smart" guns ... i do use secondary SMG for change of pace occasionally ... the Buzzsaw - NINE rounds a second and capable of penetrating walls 5. you DONT need to boost damage of the guns ... there is absolutely no point in doing that when your crits will apply 1800-2k electric damage from Short Circuit on every single crit guns themselves could do 1 damage for all i care, the ONLY relevant stats are numbers of projectiles multiplied by ease of achieving crits THEN utility (which is why Widowmaker and Buzzsaw as NOTHING beats ability to shoot through walls - the only disadvantage Netrunner builds have is in being unable to hack enemies in COVER ... these weapons solve that issue with wallbanging anyone you cant hack due to LOS obstackle in the way which is also the WORST situation for the "smart" weapons but unless you play on the controller with mouse even mediocre player will score faster hits than smartguns with theyr weird quirks and slow projectiles (Widowmaker is hitscan, the moment you pull the trigger thats where the hit or miss gets registered, not half a second later) 6. i know about cold blood perks, currently playing Sandevistan Ninja build (reflex, cool, tech) - they are good utility and defense perks ... exactly something Netrunner techie has basically ZERO use for because you have utility and defense covered with quickhacks and are almost unkillable due to gear all upgaded to legendary and full of LEGENDARY MODS and no you dont need quickhack uplod shortening form that, SC and Overheatr are next to instant anyway (at least with my build and NEtwatch Netrunned mk5 cyberdeck they were - kinda helps that you are uploading to 3 targets at a time ) 7. Cool will increase your crit damage by 40% which is additive to baseline +50% meaning instead of 150% you are dealing 190% whopping 26% extra damage - so you can oneshot people doing three times theyr healts in one attack or do three times theyr health + 26% ... xD if you go Tech instead you get 20% flat increase to armor (which also applies to subdermal armor, Armadillo mods etc ...) which is massive because armor functions as flat reduction to base damage of weapons hitting you to the point where lower level goons will just not do any meaningful damage to you anymore sure Blood Clotting does basically the same thing IF you have your CB stacks up where bonuses from Tech are passive and permanent and multiplicative with each other (take armor, make it legendary=flat armor increase, now slot legendary Armadillos in there or sprinkle in other special mods that you wont get otherwise without taking them out of the dropped gear with Waste not Want not perk ... this is exactly the reason why im currently stacking Cold Blood with Tech for melee build BUT for Netrunner that will have to choose ONE of these, id never ever chose cool over Tech as they both achieve basiclaly the same end result with Tech giving also OFFENSIVE capability where Cold Blood is 90% defense and id much rather take BODY as the third spec which complements teh defense from tech nicely by bulking up health and shotguns are fun when you can facetank whole armies

Tetratronic rippler is my personal favorite NR OS. Especially the legendary. Spreading suicide and cyberpsycosis quick hacks is fun. Just chill and watch them panic as chaos comes from nowhere. Oh no one is starting to spot me! Good thing I have optical camo.

I've played through a few times, and after stumbling upon this video I wanted to try it out so I made a new game. I've never leveled "Cool" before. I usually do any combo of the other 4. This is the first time I'm playing on Hard mode, and so far it's a pain in the buttocks. I've completed all 23 of regina's missions and a couple of the cyberpsycho's quests. And now I'm level 15 and 27 street cred before going to "The Afterlife" to start "The Heist"

only thing I will point out is that netrunner builds have a hard time if you trigger police since you can't hack NCPD. This isn't really an issue on normal, but on very hard you have to rely on your other skills until the turrets get activated and you can turn them friendly (if you are in the city, in North Oaks or the wasteland you are on your own).

I just maxed out my netrunner build but I also did max body with gorilla arms. I literally don't use guns I just quick hack and punch people to death and with the 20 body I'm much more resilient. About to do the secret ending again and take arasaka Tower by myself with no guns.

One of the BIG reasons that Int is better than Tech is that the Int stat not only improves your netrunning skills but also provides the skills necessary to build quick hacks. With a tech build, even after you have Legendary-level gear, you still need to spec into either Body or Reflexes to get the most out of them. The Int/Netrunner build is self-contained which is why you have so many Perk points left over.

IntQuickhack netrunner with Legendary Short Circuit + Widowmaker Tech rifle + Tech capable of crafting all the crit chance mods up to legendary = everything dies in one hit ... because one thing pure int wont give you is damage vs bosses ... sure you can run around like headless chicken stalling for time waiting for your cooldowns and RAM to get back up so you can do one more SC ... or you can just pull the Widowmaker and shotgun blast your way through any cyberpsycho or boss wet tissue paper ...

Wow, just started playing this game about 20 hrs in. Bought it 2 years ago, but never played it., Not into !st person games so much. But WoW, your video opened my eyes to the lethality of netrunner and cold blood. Not so much in how to do it but the build. OMG, I am so lethal now without even taking a shot at me. I am level 26, just before the quest where you are stuck into the main story. I need to change my perks now because I put a lot into body. I am maxed out in intelligence. Sort of screwed atm, because I have so few points in cool. Still do not know what is the in between attribute. It is all fuzzy., I really feel so immersed in this game. It is so real, and surreal at the same time. I have played in nothing but hard mode. Got my ass kicked so many times, until this video. I just did 5 confrontations with many hostiles. It is crazy, I never took a hit. Oh well, great info and video you did for us Neanderthals. Thank YOU!

This is the Build I’m actually playing as I type this. I focused on COOL INT REFLEX minor Body. Thank you for the video, I was indecisive about where I wanted to finalize Body, I currently have 10 Body. I wanted 14 but I might end up at 12 just for the cyberware I want, but 11 is also a great suggestion! 10 attribute pts left Lvl 40. Current Stats B : 10 I : 18 R : 15 C : 15

@@pasoxx not at all. In fact Tech is the only way to get Legendary cyberware upgrades, clothes, guns etc. Tech is also a necessary attribute with a lot of builds! As a Netrunner Quickhacks are the ultimate offensive and defensive tools for any job. Armor and weapons won’t really matter in the Endgame. You can walk into buildings wipe everyone out without every firing a shot. My netrunner was so OP that I got bored and later added throwing Knives 🔪 to make her a cyber ninja 🥷. Still OP but super fun again. It’s really up to you Paso. You can easily make a Netrunner Techie. Instead of blades like I did you can use tech rifles etc. I do change my netrunner skills around to try other things like pistols, rifles, smgs, instead of blades since my reflex ended up at 18. There are also glitches you can do with lvl 18 tech as well.

Can confirm you don't need any INT to get the legendary daemons. I got them all in my last playthru I made and I had 3 INT. Gotta research which 0 skill access points can actually drop them, and have a little patience save scumming them. Well, at least that was the case in 1.52. But I doubt it changed. Yup, crits + legendary short circuit is quite op. Very rarely I want nerfs in single player games, but that probably needs a rework or a nerf, maybe make the proc do like 10% of the dmg instead.

Just a quick side note: You don’t need datamine virtuoso to get legendary QH’s, I snuck out of Watson at level 4 or 5 when I hit 10 INT and got a legendary QH from the access point in City Center by only finishing the third line of the sequence. Save scum and you don’t need any fancy upgrades or perks to get the hacks as long as it’s level 10 INT access point

You should recommend people use big brain breach protocol instead of the auto solver. The auto solver is a program that has high potential to compromise your system be of how it works. Big brain branch protocol is faster and is an actual modification to the game itself rather than a program. It makes it so you instantly win breach protocol with max daemons by pressing on any number.

If you do get camouflage, make sure to NOT skill the ‘’Ghost’’ perk, it’s glitched and enemies always see you with camouflage on.

I still favor MkIV Tetratronic for the speed. Generally takes me about 25-30 seconds to completely flatline heavy encounters. Netrunner is the build for sure as it offers the most flexibility with regards to how players can approach and engage in hostile situations; run-n-gun, stealth, mix of both. Being a netrunner is a hybrid class, due to that fact; play diversity.

It kind of gets too powerful. I’m doing a netrunner build but am primarily focusing on the disabling hacks instead like weapon jam and reboot optics then engaging in combat with guns or blades. Killing everyone just by looking at them gets a bit boring.

as cool as it is to make a specific build for a playstyle you like, i wish near the endgame or after you finish it you were able to max out every perk point and attribute so you can try out other playstyles freely. i really wish i could try using a sandevistan but i dont have nearly enough reflexes for even the worst one.

The fact that you cannot respec is what makes these choices so difficult. I’m level 40 right now with 11 attributes just waiting to be assigned. Already level 20 int and have no idea whether I wanna go into reflex and tech or reflex and cool. The beginning of my run was blind so I put attributes in random places.

Best netrunner build: get street smart clothing mod by searching containers OR...buy from clothing stores. I start and dont leave Watson till all NCPD missions and all Regina Jones missions are done. With street smart the Street Cred (SC) ramps up more quickly and I ususally get about double my level in SC so at about lvl 6 or 7 I get to 12 SC which gets me... rare Stephenson Deck at Dr Chrome and buy any rare QHs from the Kabuki circle netrunner store (usually only Overheat) and aquire the green QH's and only buy the few I need like Cripple Movement and Contagion. I get unlimited money from crafting and at lvl 3 pay off Vik, buy the epic Kiroshi's and buy the Double jump legs (Vik has no SC requirement for this). I get the 25% headshot eye mod from Vik (11 SC). At lvl 4 , I do the NCPD mission near Cassius Ryders (Ripper) location and get the iconic Buzzsaw which shoots through concrete and works quite well, then at lvl 5 move to the NCPD misson nearer to the Dock fast travel point and get the iconic Psalm 11:16. Once having the Buzzsaw, Psalm, Crusher shotgun crafting spec (green) and the Nekomata, I am un beatable in Watson. In the early use I start with 3 in Intelligence and 3 in Engineering with the last perk into Cool. At the start I immediately put a perk into Cold Blood as it wont start giving you XP until you have a perk invested into it. I keep putting attributes into Intelligence till I hit 12 and stop there. At 12 with everying perked out except I=Spy, crafting uncommon, and crafting rare, and using QH's from the beginning the QHs start to become effective at about lvl 9. I finish up Watson at 30+ SC so I get the Epic Stephenson and Epic QHs from Kubuki (buy) before doing Konpecki and get through Konpecki without entering into Combat. At lvl 22 I can take on red skulls if patient and careful. After lvl 12 in intelligence I attribute into Engineering and get to 12 there to craft epic guns, clothes, etc. At epic lvl guns they are generally more powerful than enemy guns but... CP makes enemies have really high armor and health and you are squishy (so 2 hits and your dead). Start with Breach Protocol and after hitting enemies with QHs at least they are softened up and lost health making silenced gun shots easier to take them out without entering combat and having all of them chasing you. Just did my own review of the number of Perk Points you can get vs the number of Perk Points I want to use, and it comes roughly to 116 to spend vs an absolute Max of 108 available. The 108 factor’s in 49 from leveling, 10 from the bonus Perk Shards, and 49 from Skill Trees. I myself went with 8 Body, 3 Reflexes, 20 Intelligence, 20 Technical Ability, and 20 Cool. I imagine the skill trees that will be hardest to max will be Brawling (Brawling on a Netrunner?!), and Engineering (I don’t toss a lot of grenades or use a bunch of tech weapons). Either way, the perks wanted vs perks available will be super tight.

But why you want 20 tech? It is the most useless attribute in the game. Wasting so many attribute and skill points just for the possibility to craft legendary weapons (which are not necessary for the Netrunner build) is not a good idea in my opinion. I would strongly recommend going 20 Cool (for last Cold Blood perk which should be definitely maxed to lvl 60), 16 Intelligence (for Critical Error perk and Cyberware), 18 Reflexes (for 21 perk points from skill trees and Cyberware - Kerenzikov with Nanorelays are great, not even talking about legendary Microrotors), 12 Body (for 15 perk points from skill trees and Cyberware) and 3 Tech (most useless attribute in the game). Remaining 2 attribute points you can put either into Reflexes (if you want last perk in one of related trees), Body (for additional HP, Stamina and sweet Carrying Capacity increase from Athletic tree) or Intelligence (for 1 more perk point and 20% more quickhack damage). With my recommended attributes you will have 61/62 (depends where you want to put remaining 2 attribute points) perk points from skill trees so 120/121 perk points in total.

Pretty good build though I would very much disagree with your view of the Rippler. Personally I find the Netwatch, Arasaka Mk. 4 & Rippler all to be excellent options but which is best relies heavily on what types of hacks are the majority of a player's personal loadout.
