Cyberpunk 2077 - Contagion Build Explained, AOE farming

If you're doing Contagion you're missing out by not maxing your Cool stat and taking all the poison bonuses like Neurotoxin which just flat out doubles your poison damage or the perk (forgot name) that makes targets afflicted with poison take 20% more damage; which includes subsequent ticks of the poison.

Hey! It doesn’t seem like the poison perks from the Cool tree effects quickhacks from what I’ve read! There are so many little things like this that are still unclear lol. We need to test!

@@Ashtarte3D I think the dev's only intended the cool tree to effect poison from the knives you stab/throw. But I agree with you, it should work - just as how you should be able to pick up knives after throwing them (i am pure salt for this reason). Hope the game is a blast for you as it is for me.

Yeah my first play through I tried the poison perks with contagion. Sadly they do not work. So I wasted a lot of points in cool.

I can't replicate this. The initial crit is about 300 then ticks to about 8k, they must've borked something, shocking I know. My contagion even with 100% crit and a full build does about 10% of the numbers here.

Read the passive on the legendary quick hacks, short circuit applying to crit hits for weapons

Netwatch mk5 Offensive hacks uploaded to 3 targets within a 20 ft radius(6 meter) Increase spread hack distance 60% 9 rpm (ram per minute) recovery I do like the one your talking about but this one allows you maximum coverage.

Crit DMG and Crit Chance mods do not stack just so you know. Not sure if its a bug or purposely intended but they don't unfortunately. Deadeye is straight up bugged and doesn't work at all.

Hey nice vid bro! I'm doing a similar build, 11 reflex, 18 tech, 20 cool, 16 int, and 6 body. I'm a little torn between either going with 20 reflex or 20 cool. I currently run a silenced revolver/pistol build (one tap to the head) with Quickhacks. What's your opinion on reflex and cool? Which one should I bring to 20

Unless you want the level 20 perks, from my experience I’d just go to 19.

20 Cool/Cold Blood and dump all your perk points in the final perk once you lvl it. Its ridiculously OP over any build out there.

I do! the interaction of a lot of abilities (like neurotoxin for example) and quickhacks is still unclear, so some testing to be done for sure.

Where is contagion located?

There are netrunner stores on the map (a white quickhack icon, similar to gun stores, clothing stores etc), you can usually find some version of the Contagion hack there!

i think its kond of bad that it feels pointless to contrine the story becayse you kin of Die in the Main quest. it would be better so that you can keep playing and setting the toon up for future content.

It's too bad that when you combine this with other perks in Cool/Body/Tech Ability like +15% crit when sneaking, +30% damage when crouched, +10% damage to humans, and crit implants then nothing in the game is a challenge. It kind of breaks the gameplay on Hard difficulty. I imagine with more implants and clothing mods it would break gameplay even on Very Hard difficulty.

I agree 100%, still awesome to wipe out enemies like you're a god lol. However, it's still unclear which perks are applied to quickhacks and which aren't. Not sure about some of them

You can craft legendary quickhacks even with tech on lvl 3, tech is useless since you get plenty of legendary clothing and mods without it and tech weapons suck and quickhacks can oneshot everything

@@kiptt7082 raw damage wise, nothing beats Technical Ability, statement is also true for Tech weapons. Which currently surpass every weapon in the game for pure damage.

@@kiptt7082 tech weapons suck until you get that rifle that ignores walls so you can ping some dude outside a building and headshot every guy while they can’t do anything.

There's a netrunner store where you can buy a rare version. I can't remember where but you can search that up. You should also be able to craft it.
