You do realize that this was only shown from the Solo class, there is also the Techies and netrunner class... The original P&P (Cyberpunk 2020) game was created in the 1980s by Mike Pondsmith and is still played all over the world till this day. The dialog was intentional because it was based off that '80s timeline. A lot of CP 2077 is built on top of the original content and lore of CP 2020...

You do realize that CD Projekt gave up class system and there is "fluid class"? So You won`t play as solo/netrunner/corpo/etc only as a character with mixed stats. Implementing full "class system" would take years I believe.

+ el ah You do realize that they called the player in the demo a solo, so it's assumed you can be called a techie or netrunner also, depending on where you place your skill points. Unless it's a single class system (SOLO) and the other two classes have been reduced to skill lines.

CDProjektRed are one of the only good guys left in gaming! They really do care about their audience and making GOOD games with deep narratives and Interesting characters. Night City is the name from the name of its founder not from the time of the day.Voice acting is stylized because this is the philosophy of cyberpunku. You can really see that you do not know this world or its principles. Cyberpunk 2020 I advise you to read in order to get more joy from the game.

I love gameplay trailers that show content that's actually in the final game. There's something neat to me about playing through areas that were shown off way earlier in trailers and stuff. I remember dicking around in the first Watch Dogs, walking through locations from the gameplay trailer. It's also nice to see a gameplay trailer, where the final game actually turned out to look BETTER than the trailer. Doesn't happen very often. It's also neat to compare the trailer with the final. Seeing what changed is cool, but seeing what's still nearly identical is even cooler. Like, in that hallway early on where you wave the girl back into her room, there's a piece of paper on the ground. The exact same piece of paper is still there in the final game, despite being two entire years apart. It's a pointless little detail for the sake of making the area look messy, but the fact that that exact same piece of paper, same texture and all, is still there. Like, in those two years, it never got moved or deleted. ---------- Also, there's a lot of people in the comments talking about how there's too much swearing. I mean, by our normal standards, it might seem a bit much. But consider the world of Cyberpunk. Consider Night City, a city filled with nonstop violence, murder, and general crime. Even the damn expensive insurance battle-medics are dicks. I imagine swearing would just naturally be more common, along with all the other violence and crime that's going on.

I don’t think some games realize that throwing expletives in everywhere doesn’t make it seem more mature. In fact it makes it seem less mature. In real life (most of the time) expletives are mainly thrown out when joking, or when angry. Sure some of the people in this example were angry, but still they....idk put emphasis, maybe? Not sure if you guys ever played the tabletop RPG the video game is based on but there are loads of terminology. Jaina = girl .. Think of Trauma Team has EMTs with bodyguards. Did you see the chainguns on the front of the ambulance? Dirtgirl is a generic name for any girl on the street. She's on the dirt instead of up in one of the gleaming corporate towers or in LEO (Lower Earth Orbit). Cursing is pretty normal in this game setting.

I really would like to have the buddies (jackie) turn maybe to villains if we make certain decisions during the game or quests, and the opposite (villains turning into friends/buddies)... would add a really interesting dynamic. You would have to establish some sort of relatinoship and work for it. same with the ripper docs... if you go to others for an amount of time, you won't get discount or can't even buy anymore at other (jealous?) ripper docs... I dunno if that would make things too complex, but I would love to have some sort of that dynamic

Its based off of the pen and paper rp board game Cyberpunk 2020, which largely inspired Dredd and similar franchises. So no, Dredd borrowed from this franchise, not the other way around.

around half way through the reaction the car ran into a trash can and it got stuck at the front of the bumper and its been buging me the whole episode becuase we havent seen it disapear and we havent seen if its still under the car so it just hurts my head

Good review guys. Have to bare in mind this is predominantly a story driven RPG not a FPS. Says something about CDPR that the shooting elements are right up there so the FPS gamers are seriously looking at it. Game looks incredible, the detail EVERYWHERE is insane, time to ramp up the hardware!
