Nah, he moves from the kitchen area to his office, to his balcony, so you can just wait on the balcony for him if he isn't there when you get there.

A Neurotoxin Knife, but this was back in patch 1.6-something. You can prolly only one-shot him with a headshot from any revolver or the Pride pistol now tho.
