Cyberpunk 2077 on GTX 1650 (Patch 2.13) FSR 3 Frame Generation!

Cyberpunk 2077 just got FSR 3 FG support with the latest patch (version 2.13), but it's not great. The frame generation causes a lot of input lag, so even though you're seeing 80 frames, it feels like running at less than 30 frames. In fact, the native 40 frames feel much smoother than that. The frame generation also has poor quality with a lot of shimmering issues, so don't waste your time by re-downloading the game; it's useless!

That's how frame generation works. It's intended for using it at +60 native FPS, so basically for people with high refresh rate monitors and good PCs. Any lower than that results in input lag and artifacts. It blows my mind how many people fail to understand this (not including you, I know you are just testing)

dude, frame generation works terrible even above 100 frames, go and check forspoken or codmw3 or any other title with bad implementation of fsr3fg, the only title that did amazing job with fsr3 fg was FF16!

I expected better from CDPR, considering how long we had to wait for this update. I was expecting better FG than mod and FSR 3.1 compatibility by now. I wish CP2077 was the first game to receive FSR3 FG instead of Forspoken and Immortals of Aveum (or whatever it's called).

Yeah, the native fps looks much better than what we have with upscaling. I have played cyberpunk on my 1650 with fsr3 mods and even then, the native looks better. Either way do play the game. It is one of the most beautiful ones out there

karan try it with lossless scaling x3 mode with high textures and low settings . it gives me around 90-100 fps and feels just like real frames without much artifacting when you use low motion blur

No the input lag is atrocious because it's neither software based nor hardware accelerated, it's better to use mods, or best option buy a powerful hardware for better quality

After months, they implemented the FSR 3.0, what a shame ! The Uniscaler Preview 10 has the image better than this, it uses FSR 3.1.

lol i just love how cdprojekt absolutely refuses to let this game die. They marketed it to be the bigget game of the decade back in 2020. They had their chance and blew it up magnificently. Why not just let it go? This game will go down as one of the biggest disappointments of all time.

I played this with a gtx 1060 6gb and I mixed the settings, most of them on low tho. I played around 160hrs and only with FSR, idk for this game it looks good with fsr than without it... The game is enjoyable and Very moddable although I did played around 160hr~ I didnt finish the game yet.

It's a bad update ngl, not only did they not add fsr 3.1 which is better they restricted the usage of frame gen with fsr 3 only. It's pretty sad I can't use it with dlss
