I replaced all these files with the old ones but the game still doesnt boot. How would I fix this?

@@notniick8082 Something isn't right then. There might be a mod you have that still isn't playing well. I suggest running the mod remover. You can find it here: www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/8597 Once you do that, reinstall all the updated core mods and see if it works. Then add your mods back one by one or in small chunks to find the one that's causing problems.

two weeks ago i started modding for the first time ever, spent years just watching modded playthroughs and what not, finally worked up the courage to mod my favorite game cyberpunk... two weeks later everything blows up!!! haha, i was able to catch it before fully downloading 2.13 and have been disconnecting from the internet when i boot up CP, spent so many hours figuring out all this crap and installing a bunch of mods and now i gotta do it all again!! thanks for the vid we appreciate it

Don't let it intimidate you, choom! You don't have to do it all again, just grab the updated versions of these core mods and see how it works. I put links to the ones that needed to update in my pinned comment, but they're all updated now so you can hit em one by one. Just open each file, then drag and drop the contents into your main game folder. Drop by the Discord if you have any trouble after that, and they'll get you squared away!

its the comedic timing for me, i just watched cyberpunk edegrunners and wanted to get back into cyberpunk with some mods to shake it up a bit, downloaded like 30 on a fresh update from steam and then i go to start it and error, looks like ill be waiting until they update the cyber engine tweaks

I'm on GOG, my last update was 2.11. After that I disabled the automatic update. I have about 60 - 70 mods, everything works fine, no more headaches with the new updates 😊

If you have Cyberpunk from GOG you have no reason to ever launch it or any other game via the GOG app, in fact GOG actually recommends not using their app to launch your game. I have two complete back-ups of Cyberpunk with around 600 mods and TBH I dont even think the GOG app is on my PC, Lol.

@@angelsolis1920 on gog you can set the game to never update - on steam you still need to start the game in offline mode to avoid the auto update. im still happily running ~500mods in game v2.1 :) change your settings now so next time you gonna smile like me.

Yo, this game is kinda whack after update. It's not stable at all, and it's not letting me use Frame Generation with with Vsync. The full-screen option is also buggy as hell. Even though it's generating a lot of frames, they're not smooth at all.

Make sure to get your GPU drivers up to date, and if it's still giving you problems, try to downgrade!

@@CyberJeff2077 When I tried to launch through Steam, it complained my drivers were out of date. I've got a Radeon RX 6700 XT and according to AMD I've got the latest driver (24.8.1) so something's still borked

Been using FSR 3.1 frame generation and Intel XESS 1.3 for months now through mods. Thankfully I perfected my game with all the mods I wanted already so I will not do this patch update. My game will be sealed inside my computer SSD container just like this, unless CDPR launches a decent patch with official FRS 3.1 and not old FSR 3.0 that would just degrade my game. There's already several games with FSR 3.1 for months. CDPR is asleep at the wheel.

Hey, you seem knowledgeable on mods. Does the reloading mods option in cet reload input the edited values in mod tweaking files (located in r6)

IME if you run STEAM and its already initiated the start for the game to be updated youre sol. The game at that point will not be allowed to launch without the update again from fme. This method seems to work beforehand but not afterthefact. That said with storage so cheap nowadays its almost emabarrassing that gamers dont have complete back-ups of their games with mods.

@@CyberJeff2077 Nope, I had this issue with Wukong where I left Steam online and there it was requiring update to start. I actually read about this method before I saw videos on it. But no matter how I tried to launch the game using this method created a launch error. Interestingly tho, after updating, off line I downgraded afterwards and applied this method and it never asked again to update.

Good thing I have the game on GOG instead of steam. Just press disable update and thats it no need to find the exe and launch it

There's a way to connect your Steam account to GOG and be able to download games from their site, but it's borked and evidentially been that way for a while. There's a complicated fix that doesn't seem to work for me.

Such a trash update. I had been enjoying DLSS3 Frame Generation since it came out. And now it doesn't seem like it's working as well AND I ALSO have to restart it every time I want to toggle it on and off. It's GARBAGE. follow up

Hey choom!! Is the fineshers fixed in this new patch? Like the mantis blade finesher. In the last version they screwed the finesher animations and they stopped working. Could you confirm another time please?

There was a big issue with mantis blades causing you to be too vulnerable and not worth using, I think that's been fixed a long time ago.

Ahh, right on! My best advice would be to get all your core mods in first. That'll be the framework for all the rest of your mods. I suggest checking out LastKnownMeal's modding guide, really easy to follow and it'll get you right where you need to be. Then you can pick and choose off the nexus, but remember to take it slow, go one by one, and be diligent with reading the descriptions and instructions for each mod!

No need to delete anything! Just download the updated versions of the core mods and drop them in your main game folder, overwrite the files when it asks and you'll be good to go 👍🏻

Thank you choom! But I didn't have (Update only when I launch the game) enabled. It automatically updated for me on steam lol. "Silly me" Just as I started to learn to mod as well xD I backed up my Cyberpunk 2077 file with all my mods installed but it is the updated 2.13 backup with those mods. Am I still screwed? I did a fresh install and deleted my lingering mod files though so I can jump right in. I am not fussed about it, It's been super fun to learn to mod! Would do again!

You picked the ultimate worst time to start modding 😂 If you really really want to, you can downgrade by following the guide I linked in the desc, or just wait it out no prob! Shouldn't take but a couple days for the core mods to get updated!

Also I have not even finished the game yet I ran into a lot of game crashes trying to play with my mods so I should just finish the game and get to level 60 before installing too many mods! 🙏
