Hear hear, Mike! Mankind Divided was excellent, and I never understood why the gaming community completely ignored it. I remember Human Revolution was really well regarded when it released, but for whatever reason people just decided Mankind Divided was going to be bad before it ever came out. It’s one of my favorite games this generation by far.

People said the same about The Witcher 3 and TES Skyrim, lauding Witcher for being the game Skyrim should have been despite being released 3 and a half years later. People are very much on CD Projekt's side and for good reason but a better comparison would be Witcher 2 to Skyrim given that they were released 6 months apart. We are really spoiled for choice and as a whole we can be really harsh to game designers

The problem is that Fallout 4 came out like 6 months after The Witcher 3 and was STILL a worse game in every regard. It was barely more technically impressive than skyrim, and not even close to The Witcher 3.

INCORRECT!!! In Gamescom demo that gang laughs at Vs jacket. And then V GOT OPTION (Jackie asked him) TO FIGHT OR TO WALK AWAY. CD Projekt Red did that because they wanted to show off fighting mechanics. Small trivia: mission in Witcher 3 First Gameplay Release was never featured in the final game

Personally, CDProjekt red is one of the very few large developers where someone can say "Oh they're making X game" and I can, with full faith, go "Oh, that'll be good. I'll preorder it when I can." Atlus (for series of theirs I like) is really the only other one. I bought persona 5 on release day and I was *not* disappointed. (I would have preordered, but I only found out it was being released ON its release date.)

Well as an argument for cables still existing; no matter how advanced wireless tech gets, the same advancements will keep wires advancing and continuing to be more reliable and faster. It's basically the difference between transmitting over a noise filled area, and sending that transmission down a line with a very easy pathway to travel

In Mike's defense, most cyborg implants basically amount to taking a piece of normal technology and making it physically attached to your body (for some reason). For example, Adam Jensen's sunglasses.

A couple of things. First of it is not just boobs and swearing. The devs have said that in the final build the tab where you choose your gender they may not be blurred and be fully naked. And in general, the game won't shy from characters being nude. About the choice thing. You can, in fact, be non-violent in this mission, but for the sake of showing off more of the gameplay on the demo, they showed the violent path of V choosing to the tell the thugs about the virus on the cred chip and afterward attacking when insulted, but you can choose to ignore the insult and get out.

Actually, the Witcher 3 does serve up some pretty interesting choices that even include entire missions that can't be encountered in some of the narrative branches. I can vouch for this since I'm on my third playthrough and the game still manages to surprise me.
