Very cool. Taking down the transmitter remotely sort of blew my mind. I think it's commendable that you didn't grind to level 50 and equip all the best gear before recording these fights like so many others do on KZbin.

Thanks! I didn't know about the transmitter either, two users made a comment in a previous video (they are credited). The only thing you need for this video is the Tetratronic Rippler cyberdeck and level 18 Intelligence. So the earliest level for this to work should be 15.

This player was lvl 37. It took 5 minutes to take down Oda. I was lvl 19. Took me 3 minutes using a katana and a sniper rifle going for the head only on a 6 years old MSI laptop xD

I don't like how you have to wait and watch as the characters just go through their animations before continuing with the takedown. It's so silly to just wait behind someone's back as they're just helplessly twitching. Would make a lot more sense if the takedowns can be done ONLY when they're incapacitated like that rather than how it is now which seems to be the opposite

@@eran5005 No its doable the first try as well, but you should be familiar with how the combat-detection mechanics work and be well acquainted with chaos and dont mind killing. I dont like chaos that much myself, so i usually spend 15 minutes scouting the place firstand then just execute everything all at once without takin any risks of neither detection nor lethality.

Who would win? An expertly trained and equipped cyberninja commando with the best chrome available or a kid from the block that's good with numbers. Using Memory Wipe on Oda and then beating him up is the funniest shit I've ever done in this game.

I did Netrunner as my first playthrough when it came out. Game quickly became boring after around level 20. It easy to get great hacking mods early, you can pretty much infect 2 people with Contagion and the whole building dies. Then you just try to come up with more fun ways like this guy to keep it interesting. I recently have been playing a David from Edgerunners build, fists/gorilla arms only, handguns only when absolutely neccesary, and time dilation stuff like the kerenzikov and sandevistan. Actually really fun, also set the game on hardest difficulty. Game is legit hard till maybe level 20, which makes it fun tbh. You won't be that strong till street cred 30ish and around level 25 (for the base stats to equip this stuff), then it all starts coming together.

@@tameflame1229 ok, in another video it was my PC ;) Well that's very straightforward: Intelligence 20 Cool 20 Tech 18 and the rest is up to you. Perks for everything that boosts damage, spread, upload and cooldown times (don't forget cold blood). Then you collect some legendary gear, get some legendary clothing mods (fortuna, deadeye, bully) to boost your crit stats and you're invincible at level 20-25. And level up Intelligence to 18 as fast as you can, because it will allow you to craft legendary quickhacks. Especially the legendary sonic shock quickhack is essential.

This is clearly a fun build but I still think its hilarious to do swords with the time stop cyberware. Oda for example basically pops in V looks in his general direction, Oda Blinks and then realizes he's be stabbed twelve times and his body is fucked.

Sandevistan might be the most op cyberware. Qiant Mk.4 with three legendary heatsinks and the legendary Bioconductor is hilarious. You have a cooldown time of two to three seconds.

@@Jay_Alfred Definitely. I did my first normal run through without much cyberware, and went back to rent the game for a week and picked up that exact build. Its hilariously broken you basically just pull out your sword and instant gib everything with not much chance for retaliation as the heath pump can auto heal you to max then you just reactivate the qiant. The Satori's crit damage had my doing 8k a hit not even at max level

You should try the Time Dialation Overhaul mod, not only balances things out a bit with a bit of new mechanics but people that are also equipped with Sandies can potentially keep up with you

I really love kamikaze-netrunner build, when I'm not stealthy but rather jump straight into the action with my Crusher, "Molot Tovarischa" and gorilla arms with Arasaka cyberdeck which spreads scripts to nerby enemies. Good luck trying to get near me while I'm crushing your friend's skull with my bear hands and sending short circuit straight into your system from mile away. Couple of seconds and there's only me leaving the blood bath and couple of junkies twitching in fire/electric shock I left behind without looking back like a badass movie character LOL.

the most difficult thing is to make it look easy. You need some precision and speed, but netrunning also works fine when taking a more relaxed approach (except Oda).

I'll do some builds for 1.5. In this video (1.31) it was pretty simple: Lvl. 20 Intelligence and Cold Blood to max out everything related to quickhacking, Lvl. 18 Tech to craft some useful gear.

Thanks! I'll take a look at your video! Intelligence was Level 18 throughout the video in order to get the legendary quickhacks crafting perk as soon as possible. But that's all for 1.31. With patch 1.5 CP 77 is almost a new game and I still have to check how they "balanced" netrunning this time.

In this video I used Stephenson Mk. 2 and 4, Tetratronic Rippler and Netwatch Mk. 5. Netwatch for the Daemon achievement, Stephenson (Mk.2) for Royce and Mk. 4 for the camera one. Everything else Tetratronic Rippler.

I use contagion so few times, I really can't tell. I'll test it out, it should be easy to confirm. Btw I think I saw a video about a neurotoxin netrunner build here on youtube. Maybe your question gets answered there?

@@Jay_Alfred I don't trust builds/guides that were made shortly after the release. Authors were in haste to get onto the hype train. Many guides were based on "esential" perks that even did not work on release. I did not want to bother you, yet I do not have a character suitable for such tests

You mean the bosses? It works like on normal enemies. Sneak up on them unaware. After the first takedown you need them to exit the combat status (memory wipe or cripple movement+reboot optics). Then you just sneak up again and take them down. No special ability is needed.

I'm doing nothing special I just press tab. Flawless execution depends a lot on how you arrange your quickhacks and muscle memory imho. If you take too long to decide it is very likely that you lose your target (->bosses and cyberpsychos).

Memory wipe. I it was the only quickhack I had installed so that I could simply click and hack. And yes, one memory wipe is enough for a second takedown on all (exoskeleton) enemies. Btw you can see quickhacks in cooldown on the upper left (it's memory wipe). Otherwise you need cripple movement and reboot optics for a second takedown (Oda) - but some people say that memory wipe works on him too.

I do gigs and defeat enemies until I have enough street cred to afford the Stephenson Mk.2 (SC 12). Then I proceed with The Information, some more gigs and finally The Pickup.

As far as I can see it took me 90 seconds to take him down here. You can also watch my Oda vs Tetratronic Rippler vid (Lvl. 35/65 seconds/stealth takedowns) or the segment in my Monowire tips and tricks video (Lvl. 35/20 seconds). But beating him on level 19 is quite impressive :)
