I spent over 200hrs on this game (and looking to spend more in 1 day (Phantom Liberty)) so i know it really well. I hope people realize m how much work has been put into making this, it's cohesive, with correct timeline, very interesting ideas to glue it all together and fantastic music selection. That's some real dedication. Thanks for this so much. I'm sure all the fans are going to love it. I hope CD Projekt Red team contacted you guys about it already and something good going to come out of it. It's really well put together. Bravo

Because of the use of slow motion, the music and the close ups and mostly not on the character talking, this feels more like an hour and a half long trailer than a movie. I'm not saying it's bad. This is excellent, but that's just what it felt like when watching this.

The whole thing is like one big trailer, didn't feel like a movie at all. Slow motion shots at random. Most of the dialogue has a background score without any ambient sounds. Johnny showing up had no impact at all. Still pretty cool though. Creates nostalgia for someone who played the game long ago. Loved the use of Blood Code!

There's a lot of great edits throughout this film. I won't discount the time and effort that went into creating this. For what it is, it's masterfully crafted. After playing tons of this game thru vanilla and 2.0 with Phantom liberty and worked in the film industry as a producer, music department and director, I would like to offer a positive critique. The pacing along with musical cues give this an overall feel of a Super-Extended Trailer. I think this story, especially with Phantom Liberty could have a part 2 or even be a trilogy. Everything moves too fast for someone unfamiliar with the story to follow. Like missing important cutscenes like the car ride with Dexter. Parts that don't need any music at all to bring us into what the character is feeling and processing. Having scenes of actual combat happening that aren't in slow-mo. Letting the story breath a bit so that impactful scenes build into the action sequences from tension, also allowing the music to make more of an impact. Let the viewer get to know the characters first, just because we (players) know what and how things happen, doesn't mean the viewer will connect with the film much less the characters. Don't be so quick to get in and out of a plot point or scene. Again, as a Super Extended Trailer, you could take any clip as a promo to market the game from your creation. It's that good. As a film, I think it needs more time in the oven. Bravo for all the effort! 🤘🤖🤘

Thanks for your comment :) They are some technical reason wich explain some choices. I haven't talked about it yet because maybe I'll do a making of video... For exemple I need A LOT of cut because each body or face animations repeats infinitly, and even the "face talking animation" repeat. A real challenge for editing the dialogue and have a ok lipsync. I use tools from CP modders community, I can't animate character like i'm a cinematic artist from CDPR. So I have a lot of cut, so I have to set the rythm with sometimes a lot of music. Of course I can do better but it's not easy. I will see for Phantom Liberty Movie but hey , maybe the biggest mistake is the main title of my video (The Movie), some people expect a real movie but its a machinima after all, but machinima are not very popular in 2023.

This, was just amazing! After more than a dozen playthroughs, the "playable cut scenes" and the scripted sequences border on torturous. This however, was just amazing. Loved every second of it. Too condensed I believe to truly work as an actual stand alone movie for someone unfamiliar with the game. But to re-experience an amazing edit of this great story, amazing work dude! Well done. A missed opportunity though. Judy's best line, "you don't fuck around, do you?", wouldn't have been out of place as a voice over during the last part of V doing her thing. And another thing, purely personal opinion, Judy saying she's gotta ditch night city - don't fear the reaper was a perfect choice (though a few more seconds of massacre would've worked well here) - what an opportunity to splice in the ending part of the Aldecaldo ending! Since it's a "movie" and all. Though it would of course severely alter the tone of "your" ending. Loved the post credit Easter egg btw ;)
