I find the image sharpness and everything much better compared to FSR 2.. the image generally looks better and sharper, not so washed out anymore.. or do you use a matte screen protector?

xess works better than fsr 2 and fsr 3 on my steam deck, with sharper graphocs and lower latency

yes in general xess makes a better impression in games than fsr unfortunately :/

@FreddysGamingBenchmarks it's was on the decks ssd Launched it about 5 times with a freeze after it loaded main menu Having to restart the deck each time I verified the files and it seemed to work after that Idk what the deal was but it's working fine now

@@makandalp They didn't. It's the most disastrous implementation of FSR3 FG on the market yet, lmao. To be avoided. The FSR3 FG mods are VASTLY superior

Yeah frame generation looks really choppy. I'll probably just stick to fsr3.

yes normal fsr 3 and 30 fps locked should work fine except for rare drops :)

@@KianFloppa just install dlss enabler mod. It supports FSR3.1 since June at least

FSR isn't perfect, but I consider it the best upscaler. The only reason DLSS is better is because it is basically some of it's GPU, which you have to buy, while FSR is all software based. Truly awesome.

Still FSR is the worst upscaling technique available no matter if its 2.0 or 3.0 artefacts and shimmering everywhere.Even Sony wanna run from this shit

hmm, I think everyone has a different opinion. FSR is open source, you have to pay money for dlss, so to speak.. xess is also very good, sometimes even better in terms of image, yes :) but bro, there's no need to say anything bad about it, without fsr or xess dlss would probably be even more expensive :) competition stimulates the market, whether good or bad in this case

The implementation in Cyberpunk is a disaster. If you mod in FSR 2.1 or 3.1, it looks hilariously vastly better
