Having to grind out the really poop weapons again and getting back all my peeks simply isn't as fun as if I could use all the things I earned already in my last run. And it's as simple as adding a scaling enemy mechanic each time you go into NG, adding an incentive for players looking for an extra challenge. There aren't many Negatives I can think of over the positives

Plus the next 3 or 4 CDPR games are witcher based, so they (seemingly) brought them on to add updates and wanted addons to the game to pad time for Orion. Im fine with that, just scan the mod pages and the community to find what addons to put in next.

is lots of coding to transfer all content to beginning ,this will add lots of bugs. If was that simple they will make it but look on God of War Ragnarok , took 3 months to make only the NG+ and some bug patches Cyberpunk is much more complex in terms of RPG and stuff which will take 1 year atleast

Apparently, it was kinda outsourced cause 2.1 was legitimately supposed to be the final update. People think it was either pressure to release something cause Witcher is taking longer than expected or they're trying to build a hype train for new cyberpunk projects. Regarding New Game Plus: There is a mod, that gives you multiple things in one interface. One of those is NG+. The option resets all of your completed missions, sets your level back to one and lets you keep various things (you can customers what IIRC). So, if modders already have the tools to put it into the game, there is no excuse for CDPR. Hell, the modder would have probably been honoured to tell them how he did it. For me, the mod always worked flawlessly.

This is pretty disappointing. I was hoping for Ai fixes and improvements and to finally be able to use T-Bug tutorial area for combat, because that VR area have a lot potential. It's also weird that there's only old school arcade in this game, Even Watchdogs 1 did it a lot better, the AR games in that games are really good.

Thanks for the infos! 👍 - Getting to choose car paints is neat (tho really weirdly implemented) and getting more of the road cars as buyable options is neat too, but both of these were already possible with the most basic mods, would've been so much cooler if they could've given us those "cut late in development" vehicle modification shops, just 1 and with only very basic options (paints and wheels?) would've already been great, im sure modders could've built upon that to do stuff like performance upgrades etc etc - More character creations assets is always great - Photo mode changes are clearly just a copy of mods, which isn't a bad thing but begs the question why not spend the time elsewhere - Smart frames is a nice touch but seems kind of strange to add after so long? to a single player title? This is a thing in most recent MMO-like games (take a pic with your buddies after beating a boss or w/e) but feels somewhat out of place here? - A proper new game plus would be great, sucks to hear its still not a thing ☹ - Couldn't care less about any anime, but if they make another and it brings more players it might get us yet another "last patch" so let's see how that pans out i guess.

The randomizer is a huge plus for people who don't already know exactly what they want to look like. Just make the slider normal, then randomize until you get something you like, lock what's good about it, keep randomizing, eventually it all comes together and you can make it more punk for the accessories and such.

How they could fix the NG+ hype is by making either repeatable content such as gigs, jobs, ncpd, etc, or take a note from fromsoft and add it into the game but make it harder with different dialog options and choices while also giving a respec option to allow us to try new builds without the hassle of starting over. It'd also give us completions an opportunity to completely fill our weapon wall without any missing slots. I agree that cyberware being an aesthetic choice would be more immersive and satisfy a lot of people, myself included, but what I'd like more than anything is more interaction. For example, the dates are a great feature, but what if you could immerse yourself more. Like buying blackmarket BDs and watching them at home. Going to the nomad camp and hanging out by the fire. Fixer missions with high stake high rewards that are like the heist. Jamming with Kerry, even joining a gang with specific initiations and such. just to name off some things. As far as aesthetics go, though, apart from cyberware, I just want hoods. Is that too much to ask?

Don't understand why they don't bring in NG+. Know it's not the same but used character editor to make a psudo ng+ playthrough on my PS5 and the only thing that was 'broken' is that the Blackwall AI in my cyberdeck wouldn't speak until I got to the mission to unlock PL.

Have a maxed V with both blackwall items in the prologue and, like I said in my post, the only thing that 'broke' is that the blackwall AI won't speak until you unlock the mission for PL.

I see a few things I wanted them to add that aren't in the game which doubt they would ever add. 1. NG+ is one like you said cause all the gear don't give enough time to play with them along with scaling loot/difficulty would of been amazing. 2. Jobs : Working with trauma team , etc... for like cash and xp. 3. A way to save and romance Evelyn. 4. 10:10 to be fair cyberpunk 2077 lore goes deep and i mean all the way back to the mid 1800s in detail. They’ve got so much story to show if they just so wanted to. Many people just play the game quickly and don’t actually realize how deep this game goes, it’s like an alternative fallout story canon. In Orion I’d like to see customization get a refit, cyberwear especially body oriented as well, some other ideas I’ve seen new body types, which honestly I’m both fine if it doesn’t happen but hope it may. One big thing I’d hope to see is again much more from customization for vehicles and at some point maybe mod support, honestly I do understand it’s a preference to have players play the game as intended, as it takes away from the story to be basically a cyber psycho off the bat, although with a new game+ feature I’d say after initially completing the story, it gives you the chance to play again with all your new weapons, modifications, and cyberwear. Alongside opening the ability to use mods, like the story is a prerequisite, mainly spitballing to be fair but, honestly seeing how much the game has evolved and having played on release when it was bugged to hell, (honestly I had fun interacting with the bugs, learned a few tricks and what not) with the game in it’s current state, it’s amazing what the team has achieved since then and I have high hopes for Orion.

I'm hoping for a online heist mode that will let you run for really rare gear would be fun. Maybe factional combat that allowed for armored vehicles, power suits, hover ships and faction gear would be cool plus expensive items that would have you need to grind out for specific items would be good to add to life of the game.

I imagine we've all played Skyrim at least once here, when you start a new game you have maybe 10 minutes of forced dialog and done, you've escaped Helgen and the world is yours for the taking. You can do absolutely ANYTHING you want to do including ignoring the main story for litteraly hundreds if not thousands of hours. Games like Cyberpunk 2077 need NG+. Starting over feels like such a slog of dealing with several hours of forced missions and cutscenes. If nothing else we should have the ability to reset attribute points more than once. Keeping it at once while the game was new is fine, but the game is old. Just let us reset now. Or raise the level so we can have 20 in everything. Also we deserve iconic arm cyberware. I want epic Mantis Blades!

I think I must be the only person who almost never uses vehicles in Cyberpunk. I feel like I miss so much of the city if I drive. I try and get into the driving, cause obviously I'm missing a big part of the game. But it never feels as fun as running and climbing around the city, finding all the random loot and hidden areas, watching and listening to the city and its residents Ai doing their thing. Driving around just feels like I'm rushing to quest markers, focused on the map and road, and not much else. And once I get double jumping, I REALLY don't want to drive around. I'm pretty sure it's just a me thing

It's not 😊 While I still love driving around and blasting music, or going out in the badlands with my road warrior-esk gunship-mobile, I do still enjoy walking the city. I try to walk more and use the new trams, cause it's nice to experience the city life. But, it's also nice to drive 150+ mph down the highway blasting music too. I guess I enjoy both worlds.

Did a psudo ng+ on console using a save editor (before it broke with this update). Arguably should be the worse way to do a ng+, just adding things to your character/inventory like that, but I had no bugs except that the Blackwall AI on the cyberdeck and SMG won't speak until you unlock PL missions.

ng+ is needed for a game like this, no one will care if its glitchy, at this point people just wanna play the game properly. being able to explore the potential of what it actually has to offer not a bunch of road blocks towards the content. playing games now a days feels like a "jump through these hoops" simulator & less like an incredible experience to be had. if they had new game + the game would be playable for people to enjoy what is actually there but in its current state u would need to play the game like 3 or 4 different times to see different paths. they need to chill out with level caps & trying to control stuff, making a game that could have been great into jumping through these little hoops they design, coulda just enjoyed the game instead. i feel like games r tedious & make u do a bunch of boring shit for no reason. like they negatively impact the game for no reason. id take ng+ along with the glitches tbh.

NG+ is a power fantasy in the simplest form, the progression of one's game shouldn't be a consideration for that fact alone. Old games use to do this without a care. Souls games still do it no less.

Honestly if they added a new game plus to make it a much more balanced approach, start off the same way they did it for anyone switching over from ps4/X1 to ps5/XSX give back the perk points you earned, start off the game with each of the skill tree's at 10 and that way you can branch kind of similar to skipping the first part of the game in the phantom liberty dlc, Make any legendary weapons you have scale to your level and just have it as the level with you or are upgradeable as you go. Keep all the cars you Purchased over time prior but have legendary cars A.E johnny's car (not counting dlc vehicles from updates and etc.) as re-put throughout the world to not throw off anything earned on story play throughs. As well keep all money, apartments, and clothing from prior playthrough again just level adjusted to player. If they do another update one thing they need to fix is the dam weapon damage balance. I find it dumb that a shotgun or anti freaking tank rifle feels so under powered. Its a shotgun, a double barrel alone should be effective within 90 feet give or take. which anything in that range should be peppered, knocked down, or dead. Also why are anti tank rifles in the game treated as the same damage level as a sniper rifle.. Anyone who knows they're weaponry knows a blessed 50 BMG and a 308 do not do anywhere close to the same damage. Not to mention how slow some of the pistols action is in game. the magnum's don't even have the level of power it feels like they should.

NG+ and a respec feature would be great, can't see why it wouldn't be possible considering the catalog of devs who've done before. For the sake of replay value and the new end game weapons, we've already waited damn near a decade, surely it wouldn't take that long for those features. It's not like we're gonna be kitted up to Edgerunners nor Adam's level despite the, "Be whatever you want in Night City" being a flat out lie.

We got no new hairstyles, still no NG+, no actual meaning for your route except some dialogue options, Still only one respec per run, no act 1 skip... And please for the love of God, stop nerfing net running... If was my most favorite way to play but now it's just a joke and you don't feel like an all powerful net runner who can hack his way through everything. There are so many things that need to be added to the game

Awww does someone actually have to think when they netrun? It trivialized the game even on very hard. You want a power fantasy? Play on easy Mr "all powerful netrunner".

I'm pretty sure it's going to bomb harder than 2077, at least initially. Not saying i want that outcome, but let's be realistic here, they struggled to make a coherent game with '77 for the first few versions, they struggled to get good performance out of their own engine with '77 for many versions & now they are using Unreal Engine?? famously bad for open world and famously bloaty and overly demanding (from hardware) and difficult (for the devs) at times? I really dont have high hopes for Orion being any sort of decent for its first 1-2 years, its going to have the same half assed buggy release and all sorts of problems ruining the experience. If it was some random studio with no history they would get away with it, because most customers are aware that Unreal Engine runs like ass & terrible launches are sort of industry standard these days anyway, but it's CDPR, they screwed up like 2-3 launches in a row now, if they screw up yet again then people _WILL_ lose interest, cool IP or not.

Geez, I hope they add New Game Plus because where else can I used my buff up V since I've finished all side gigs and NCPD crimes around the City. If not then might as well give the game repeated merc missions that spawns throughout the map with leveled enemies.

Here's something I think would be cool for future Cyberpunk animation series (spoilers for Edgerunners).... Whoever the main cast are and whatever the storyline, have Adam Smasher destroy all/most of them in the final episode. This will make players despise him more after each series (think about all the comments where players feel like they're playing to get revenge for David's crew) and builds up the backstory of Smasher being a living legend/boogie man. Often, by the time you fight him in game, you're totally overpowered, so giving him these mini-tales will better justify why why all the NPCs talk about him the way they do.

I think they should add a dlc or make a game based off of Johnny silverhand and his backstory. Since we got so much backstory in the game I think they should expand on it and make it another game series/dlc starting from the very beginning of his story all the way to being the funny nusense to V and end it there. Idk just an idea

It would be amazing if we could make a playthrough without the main storyline looming over. The story is nice and all, but it really stifles the experience for someone who just wants to take in all the details the game has to offer without the feeling of being rushed towards the rather unsatisfying endings...

Stop saying it's the last update. They passed the game off to another studio to be maintained so don't be surprised if Cyberpunk gets more content and lasts as long as The Witcher 3.

They’re really should be a new game plus and I’m agreeing with most of the community on this. If I was one of the deaths I would’ve made sure that was one thing that I was working on personally and I would’ve brought it up to my superiors before I do that.
