This is one of those games you don't want to beat because you don't want it to end ! I did everything i possibly could before beating the last mission, and it was amazing ! It was one of those games that when you finish. You look back and think " wow that was a great experience " the detail i loved at the end was when you got all the voicemails from the people you helped in that game that was such a great little touch of immersiveness.

As much as I love cyberpunk, I gotta hand it to no mans sky. The guys from Hello Games really and I do mean *REALLY* turned that game from a skeleton into a flesh and blood package. Cyberpunk already had its foundation beneath the bugs and preformance issues at launch, but NMS had to build that foundation across a decade in order to get the game to where it is today. No mans sky eventually made good on what was promised all those years ago, and more than that, they went abovd beyond to continue supporting the game years into the future. Who knows? Maybe by 2030 cyberpunk will have its sequel, maybe it will continue to be updated by the supportive studio. While the game is incredible as it stands, it still feels lackluster compared to what was advertised back in E3 2018. All that talk of job systems and cosmetics playing a role in how NPCs engaged with you is still nowhere to be seen. Branching Quest paths were larger and the world had more dynamism to it. Im not complaining, CDPR have done more than enough to make the game incredibly immersive and enjoyable. But theres still a part of me fantasizing about the "what if?".

I played 1.0 to completion and 2 times agin at 2.0. Now, I'm starting a fresh game on PS5 Pro 2.2. Every time i play through, i have a different build, and it doesn't get old. For those holding grudges against the launch, either move on or play the latest version and see how much has changed! 10/10 perfect game in 2024!

Cyberpunk after the DLC restored that feeling I had growing up, playing a video game in the early 2000’s on a Saturday morning, hearing those little birds that no longer can be heard. I was so immersed in the city, the skyscrapers, the lore, the music, the vibes. Something that was only a “what if” when the game dropped in 2020 with all the technical issues. For those who are still hesitant and haven’t given the game a try, just start your console/PC and enjoy the ride. It truly is a beautiful game and depending on your ending you might actually feel sentimental, I know I did haha…That scene with Johnny in the chopper by the end of the game, hits every times.

They sold 30million after less than 4yrs. You can't get much better even with Game of the Year award and a perfect launch. Live TV show will pop up soon and they will update the game again the same way they did before. This will be 40million sold before the next one is out. The redemption is for the players. Other companies would not do anything after selling 20million.

It doesn't leave as much of an impact if you get a bad Call of Duty or Assassin's Creed since another one is likely in production already. Making one game a decade and it still being garbage except for maybe the graphics and not being able to fix for 4 years after release and only getting a redemption arc thanks to an animated series puts an image of a company that is incompetent at best.

@@lukasor9936 Just keep in mind that Activision merged with Blizzard and then merged with Microsoft. CDPR grew on its own not by investment but on their own. The company first started selling games not making them and then localizing western games. On the way they they established GOG which is a part of the group. How many gaming engines are there? 7or 8? CDOR made their own as well that hey used toll Cyberpunk. It is only now they have serveral games in the works as there also is a new concept that will be surely ready to go into production after Witcher 4 is released. To me they redeemed themselves and not only they are not seeking merging with a bigger company but have rules written stopping take overs. As for December 2024 they are worth 4.6billion USD. Don't forget that they set industry standards dealing a blackmailers stealing TW3 and Cyberpunk code. As a company(if they don't fuck up this stage of growth) they are actually a book example how to build a company. Do you know Sony charges 10.00 extra for Horizon next gen? The Witcher 3 next Gen version was Free even if you bought the base game on sale. Horizon next Gen might sell additional million or 2. CDPR could have made dozens of millions on the next gen update.

The day before the stream, they made it seem like a massive update was coming. However, what we received were just additional customization options, some new cars, photo mode features, and the ability to have Johnny spawn in the passenger seat. What frustrated me during the stream was that they dismissed the request for FOV options on consoles when it was mentioned.

I love this game, I have installed it on my PC and don't delete it because I always want to be able to play it. The Update is okay, but it is not "Above and Beyond", at the end of the day the game simply lacks substance when you run through night city not wanting to do any missions. The Arcade games are boring and there is not really that much to do. I explored, found some easter eggs and it was cool and all, but still the excitement does not hold that long. Something is just really missing when it comes to this game an dthe customization of V seems like a cynical joke to me, given that I hardly see the guy, it's not a 3rd Person game nor an online multiplayer game so what the hell is the point? Also neither NPC nor anyone else gives a crap about how you run around, there is no reaction to your appereance, if they do not give us a 3rd person option, the way "No Man's Sky" gave it to their players, then all of this was wasted hours. I really love this game, but any time I play it, something is missing, it has fighting and shooting and some hacking, cute, but hell, I feel like I had more options in GTA San Andreas than in this game. It's a cyberpunk game, why not add a hover board. It has Megabuildings, why not have Judge Dredd DLC missions, there are so many damn Cyberpunk stories which could've been implemented but all we have is the main story, some shit with the guys we have to catch and stealing some cars, okay, wow, fuck me. Also, I don't give a crap about how hard the devs worked, lol, don't read this comment, let us not act as if the Devs decided what gets in the game and what does not. But yeah, I am just tired of getting Updates, which are damn huge and don't really bring me any joy, in all seroiusness, WTF should I do with the character customiuzation, V could run around naked it just does not matter what he wears and how he looks, it does not matter. It's just wasted GBs on that crap. I feel like I have a love hate relationship to this game.

Compared to the vast to majority of tripple A developers yes they have the game didn't launch it the greatest state and they got alot of deserved shit for it they said as much themselves but it's how they handled that fuck up that's another matter in of itself. They have stuck with this Cyberpunk yes some of the stuff is what was originally promised thats fair criticism but most dev teams would have done the bear minimum and them dropped support completely CDPR has they have done their best to try and bring everything that was promised and working and even sprinkled in a few things probably that wasn't on that list is the game still missing a good few promised item no doubt but the devs in my eyes have done more than enough to redeem themselves but they will always have that launch cloud over their head and judging by how they've handle Cyberpunk I'd say they took that lesson to heart

These are great additions and I'm glad we got them finally, still have hope they will add those in but between the car customization and the johnny addition those are really nice updates and changes the flow of both riding around nc and escaping police. Also being able to put up photos in your apartments is sweet asf. I understand the complaint but between all of the updates the past few years and phantom Liberty, the game is a masterpiece. Doesn't mean that it can't be even better though as evident from this unexpected update.

I've got the ps4 og disc, bugs and all, still managed to complete it without any major issues, just performance based problems but I still enjoyed it. Got the free ps5 update and had to support cdpr with phantom liberty which was - well - AMAZEBALLS - what I want now, is an ultimate edition which has everything and works offline and I will purchase the game once more, so I dont have all the downloads to go with it as having the original long into the future when the system eventually gets emulated, I'd like to have the buggy version and the full completed edition that I can enjoy

You wouldn’t just contract another company to make a random patch no one expected… so based on this and their cheeky answers during the stream announcing this.. and CDPR having new CEOs… I think they’re working on something larger behind the scenes for this game.

I have said this before, following the companies trackrecord, that we can probably expect some kind of bigger update when their anime series(and the next movie/serie) hits Netflix, it would be strange NOT to add something like they did to Cyberpunk connected to the Edgerunner anime. If they can outsource updates.... well they can keep on adding stuff without needing to put that much resources into it and concentrate on Witcher 4(and later on Orion)

Yes the were deceitful at launch after they basically were in the good graces of every gamer with the work from The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. However, You CAN trust them to still deliver a great game even if its after launch. I have played Cyberpunk when I was first out it was pretty bad🤣. I also beat it a second time after significant improvements. I need to do a three complete playthrough to see the last significant changes. My second playthrough I was impressed with how much the game changed with the overhauling of the perk systems it was really good. Im curious how Phantom Liberty is didnt get to play that one add on.

They've always went above and beyond in all their games. Witcher 3 also released extremely broken but their commitment to patching them was similar to cyberpunk as well. People should remember this when ever CDPR releases another game. Better to wait then buy at launch

I quit Cyberpunk when their last update fucked up my skill tree and nerfed all my guns. They also patched out the item duping glitch which I relied on to make money since earning money in this game is bullshit

Update is almost useless. Why not all cars customisable? Why not all cars available for purchase? Why no weapons customisation or ability to unequip mods? Why not all clothes available for purchase? Like you still see those things on the streets that you really want, but can't have it. How hard for devs is to add Quadra Sport R-7 customisable basic model version, Mixutani Shion Targa MZT customisable or black, or steel version (they add blue version, because blue is majority favourite color 😅), Thorton Merimac MSL3 customisable basic version or black like Reed's, or gold version you can see on the streets versions, Mizutani Hazuki basic customisable version or customisable Hoseki, Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X customisable bacic or black versions (at least you made it customisable with all those stickers), but Peacekeeper licence plate not fixed. ... It's just hard to understand.
