Dude this is incredible. That long canyon of buildings looked like something I’ve always dreamed of building

Me: "How many custom assets, props and buildings do you have to merge/splice together with Move It/PO to create a futuristic, cyberpunk looking city?" Jimbo WestCoast: "Yes"

Ive always wanted to make a very dense futuristic city. I assumed that if i left it say 25 tiles i could maintain the illusion of a very dense large city but still have lots of vehicles and pedestrian traffic.

For sure big cities require alot of system RAM. To work around that I used a lot of background filler buildings that don't use up much memory. Never been a better time to do a futuristic city, what with so much content available on the steam workshop now. Have fun...

how can this video only have 3000 views? Incredible work! I can't imagine how much work this has needed. Wow! Is there a chance to see a mod list?

Ah and Aphex Twin, is obviously amazing, hope they don't demonetize you for it

I switched profiles so I could like it twice! Might even be better than the Mars build, cause it's like, more finished.. Great job, I'm envious of your skills

What is the name of the song between 0:08 and 4:23?
@jimbowestcoast29292 жыл бұрын
It's this one. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYiniZhqmtOLfa8 though the original version is from Tangerine Dream back in the 1980s.

Can I find the car billboard and the 7up asset at 3:00 on steam?
@jimbowestcoast29296 ай бұрын
Yes, though those are non-cyberpunk assets and were made by someone else. I think every sign shown in this video is on steam.
@raphaut6 ай бұрын
@@jimbowestcoast2929 do you know their names by any chance? I tried looking them up but I wasn’t able to find anything. Breathtaking video by the way! Amazing work
@jimbowestcoast29296 ай бұрын
@@raphaut No sorry. It could be because the author of those placed them in "PACKS", which is what I do for most of my workshop content. It makes it easy to upload them but it makes it hard to search for them by name. Signs are very easy to make yourself in Blender, and its fun.

How did you build this!!!!!
@jimbowestcoast29292 жыл бұрын
I build alof of stuff myself in Blender. Most of which I put on the Steam Workshop, so you could build a city too if you want!

how does this city even run on any computer damn.
@jimbowestcoast29292 жыл бұрын
Well, it kinda doesn't! The only way I can make a video like this is if I slow down the simulation in-game by 10X, then when I'm editing the video I speed it back up by 10X.
