@@Shendue its because the original language is definetly english, even the subtitles for the japanese version are exactly what they say in the english dub but its not what they said in japanese and they dont say any cyberpunk slang unlike the english dub, idk why netflix says japanese is the original dub lol

You've really messed up by watching this show in Japanese, the cyberpunk 2077 fans have watched this show in English dub. Because The game was in the English language and their are Easter eggs from the game in this show of iconic characters that speaks english. I'm guessing you never played the game.

I wanted to watch, but I just can't stand the Japanese version. The English is extremely well done. It's also set in America, so it just makes sense. Also, you lose a lot of the other languages and slang in the Japanese version. Like the detail that the tyger claws still speak Japanese in the English version.

Thanks for watching this in Japanese. The way it was intended to be watched. Any show or film should be watched in urs original language to minimize as much disconnect as possible. Watching an English dub decreases the quality and overall emotional connection of the story. So thanks again.

To bad The show takes place in America and was created by an American in the 80s and the English dub is actually superior in this which is a rare case but it happens japanese does not correctly do the nuances and cultural lingo correctly for this story sadly.
