#15 The Cyber truck must have zero common sense, a small child wandering around the roadway. A truck already hit him and thinks it couldn’t again. A person “rubber necking” could easily plow into them and it happens all the time. Leave helping others should be left to professionals, unless in an isolated area.

Regarding the white car that pulled in front of Jake and the car that landed up rear ending him, the rear-ender is mostly at fault. At the end of the day, unless someone is doing one of those swoop and stop insurance scams, if you rear-end someone, it's your fault, because it means you were following too closely. I see it all the time. People driving really fast and right on the bumper of the person in front of them. All it would take is a normal stop for them to rear end the person. Now, with that said, the white car is also partially at fault here. I'd say 80% the rear ender's fault, 20% the white car's fault and 0% the fault of the Tesla driver.

On the video from Rashon, when his Tesla was pushed into the Jag in front of him by the Chevy van, you can also see that the Jag was also pushed into the vehicle in front it it because the third brakelight on the roof can be seen suddenly moving from the impact. So it looks like it is a 4 vehicle collision instead of a 3.

In the UK, VW would have been at fault, as the driver should have left enough space to react, regardless of what was going on in front. However the Hyundai could have been prosecuted for driving with undue care, as it's an offence to make a maneuver that causes someone else to have to take evasive action.

I think its wild that the US spends so much on police yet they just don't show up to an accident? In germany thats unthinkable, if you want to have a "Unfallbericht" (Accident accessment) for your insurance then the police has to come and they will within reasonable time.

It depends on the state. I was a traffic incident witness in Maryland, and decided to stay to provide a statement. The police arrived in 2-3 minutes. Two officers in two cars.

In my county again, police are only required when there is injuries or death, or off course if the accident is severe enough that it influences traffic flow. Minor collisions just needs to be reported to the police within 48 hours.
@LanguagesWithAndrew2 ай бұрын
Depends entirely on the responsible agency and, mainly, how well-funded they are. In areas that are poor and/or that have "defunded" the police, you won't get a police response, or at least not a timely one, for minor offenses such as traffic offenses.
@JohnDoe-bd5sz2 ай бұрын
In Denmark police will generally not attend any traffic accident that is not severe enough to warrant ambulances. Only exception to this rule i can think of is, if the crashed cars are affecting traffic (In the middle of busy intersections) or if someone calls them and say that an accident has happened and one or more participants seem impared.

Clip #1 reminds me of an incident my uncle was involved in. He had a 94 Chevy cab and chassis and my dad built him a steel flatbed to use as a landscape truck. My uncle was stopped for a school bus and was looking right into the sun. The truck behind him didn't see him stopped in time and hit him at at least 25 mph in a full size Chevy truck. The guy that hit him could not open his doors at all and the entire front end of that truck was demolished. I'd say it was totaled. The cost to repair my uncle's truck? A $3 can of black spray paint.

@1:35. Azaluza’s clip. As a Washington DC native I’m compelled to correct misinformation about the Woodrow Wilson Bridge (WWB). The WWB crosses the Potomac River, and is part of the Capital Beltway (Interstate 495) that loops around the Nation’s Capital, Washington, DC. The WWB crosses the river on the south side of the I495. Now for the correction. The Woodrow Wilson Bridge does not directly connect Maryland and Virginia as stated in the Video clip. The Woodrow Wilson Bridge actually connects the Virginia and Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC to Washington DC. Had you been referring to the north side of the Nation’s Capital Beltway this erroneous statement would be true. On the North side of the Capital Beltway the American Legion Bridge directly connects the Virginia Suburbs of DC to the Maryland Suburbs of DC, and does not pass through the District proper.
