Cybertruck first tow FAIL! 7k+ lbs

Our first time hooking up a trailer with the cybertruck. This travel trailer gets a lot of use by a gasser F-250 driven by Dave.
We didn’t get very far before problems arose!

"My camper was too much for it" - It wasn't the weight because people have done tests towing 11,000 pounds and it was fine.

Yeah I think we agree. It was something else. Power wise and stopping it was fine for the short trip we had. We will need to test again and see how the results are. Haven’t seen that error again since that one time.

@@MattsCybertruckthe weight distribution might have put to much pressure on the front axle. Next time, try towing without the bars cranked on - especially since ya didn’t have the right pipe to do it anyway 😂…. This would take the pressure off the front motor which might have freaked the system out.

try driving with the tonneau cover down, you lose a ton of efficiency when it's pulled up, hope this helps!

I was an early reservation holder, placed my order march 2nd and canceled last night. I was able to pay cash. Why own an overpriced truck that needs to be charged every 90-100 miles? Our annual trip is 1200 miles, unhooking to charge and time charging is totally unacceptable. Add to that cost increase, range promise total miss, selling a 120k truck with no FSD. Then there's saftey crash test rating. If it was so safe they would be showing results. The fact they're not speaks volumes. Also conversion rate to order from reservation appears to be under 2%. They're offering early delivery to shareholders now? Resale price is dropping quickly simply because demand isnt there. Get ready to lose your butt in depreciation just like all the rest of the price drops. The Model S plaid dropped from 135k new to 89k today. Bend over, a no lube butt reaming is coming.

To each their own! A vehicle purchase is never an “investment” and I was well aware going into it. Not worried about it but this is a great experience so far! It was also supposed to seat 6 and be larger than what was delivered. Oh well…it’s still great! I’ll use our Expedition Max with the family for our cross country trips.

if you tow a lot EV long range battery stored in the trailer and a hard cable battery connection and you still have your bed space and the additional range!@@MattsCybertruck

My eyes are crap these days so I'm just asking - does the camo hat that your NRA, gun enthusiast family buddy is wearing say, "SS Ferguson"? But each "S" looks a little jagged, like the SS from the Nazi Party? Are you buddies with a literal Nazi? Again, I couldn't see it that well, that's why I'm asking.

LOL!!! He’s my brother in law and works for the public water department. That’s a vendor/brand they use. But maybe someone should tell Ferguson that their logo looks eerily similar to the SS! I can assure you you’re reading too much into this one :)
