CYBEX Cloud Z2 i-Size Car Seat Tutorial

At "Step 4: Ensure base is secure" 2:00, the base appears to move sideways a little bit. Is that intentional? I installed everything as per instructions and see green indicators, but I am still getting slight wiggling. Is that normal or is the construction meant to be completely stiff?

Thank you for your feedback! The rotatable ISOFIX connectors are part of the safety concept and can accommodate variations in size and geometry of different cars. The rigidity of the overall unit - seat and base - is designed in such a way that the forces in a collision are absorbed as gently as possible. This may give rise to the false impression that the seat is not firmly attached to the vehicle. A little movement is perfectly fine in this case.

the product has a beeping mechanism, and when all checks are green it keeps beeping. I notice the position of the feet, at a specific level it stops beeping, but it is very unstable .I had to remove he the battery.

Hi João, we are sorry to hear you have had a negative experience with your Base Z2. The beeping occurs when there is not enough pressure on the load leg. Please can you check the load leg is pushed forwards towards the front seat of the vehicle. You should hear a click of the soft-lock. Can this base or the Z base be fixed in legs forward position? I have a car that has backward facing seats and it would be very handy if it could. For ppl without imagination: seat reversed + baby seat reversed = baby stays head forward.

Hello, as you can only use this car seat rear-facing, it cannot be used on rear-facing vehicle benches. A rear-facing car seat on a rear-facing vehicle bench would be front-facing when installed.

@@cybexglobal Yes and then i rotate the seat in the Base to the proper position. But something is not letting me, maybe you know what exactly. The older kids seat Does rotate, so mechanicaly it's possible. And why not make a switch for this option? There are tons of people with buses like Multivan, where placing the toddler facing all the people in the back is so much better than facing the car's seat backrest.

No but I think cars from 2016 onwards started putting them in. If you look in the seats and find metal guide loops then you've got it. Or if you google your car model you should be able to find out if it's got isofix

Just remove the battery, theres a small battery compartment in the bottom of the base.

Hi Tomas, thank you for getting in touch and for choosing CYBEX for your family! The Cloud Z2 i-Size has two positions in the vehicle; Upright and semi-recline. When using the Cloud Z2 i-Size outside the vehicle you can recline the seat into an ergonomic lie-flat position.

Hi there! Our Cloud T i-Size car seat offers an ergonomic lie-flat position but this position is permitted exclusively for use outside of the car, for example on a stroller, and must not be used in a vehicle under any circumstances. However, when installed on Base T inside the vehicle, the newest Cloud T i-Size can also be placed in a semi-reclined position. Our goal within the development of our in-car recline of Cloud T i-Size was to find an angle that is comfortable for the passenger but at the same time provides a high level of safety in case of an accident.

Hey Pamela! We have positively tested the Cloud Z2 i-Size on the BabyZen YOYO2 according to safety standard EN1888 with adapters made available by the manufacturers of the stroller. Therefore, we kindly ask you to get in touch with BabyZen to make sure you purchase the correct adapters as we do not produce adapters to fit on other brand strollers.

Hi! Thanks for your interest. In case the seat is used with a Base Z2, the new recline position is easily adjustable with only one hand, allowing for a more comfortable position for the child. For safety reasons this does not apply for a belted installation. In addition, the infant car seat can be adjusted to an almost lie-flat position outside the vehicle, e.g. as part of a travel system.
