why do you think it is safe even without a top tether? Is the seatback(backrest) tight enough without a top tether after installation? does a top tether give additional safety since it is said that a top tether prevents 4-6inches further head displacement in collision?

Hello, I noticed that in this model is not possible to use the top tether belt. Maybe because is not mandatory, due to the fact that Isofix connect and car belts are sufficient to ensure security?

*Solution S-Fix* or *Solution S i-Fix* - what is the difference?

Heya! Essentially, the Solution S-Fix and the Solution S i-Fix differ by their approval standard. The Solution S-Fix is a (semi-) universal seat because it is approved according to the UN R44 / 04 standard. The new Solution S i-Fix is what is called a Specific Vehicle Booster seat. This seating category is in accordance with the UN R129 / 03 standard. It complies with stricter side impact tests. In addition to the different regulation standards, the seats visually differ by the colour of their respective belt guide. Originally red (on the Solution S-Fix), it has now been switched to green. The colours indicate where the belt needs to go.

Hello! Our Solution Z-fix is part of the CYBEX PLATINUM line and is a bit more luxurious than the Solution S-Fix. It is equipped with a 12-position height and width adjustable headrest that grows with your child for a more comfortable and spacious fit. The Solution S-Fix offers 12 positions as well but adjusts only in height, not in width. Both, Solution Z-Fix and Solution S-Fix, are designed with a patented 3-position reclining headrest that prevents the child’s head from falling forwards while being asleep. In addition, the two seats are equipped with a L.S.P.-System, which will provide extra safety in case of a side impact. With Solution S-fix it's possible to store this away, which will help for fitting smaller cars. The design of the Solution S-fix makes the seat narrower on the outside but at the same time offering more space for the child when it is seated in there. However, the fabric of the Solution Z-fix is a bit more luxurious offering the highest comfort for your child. We hope this helps! 💗

@@sanjabaljak8637 Let me answer, m-fix is an older model, which is basically the same as s-fix, except wider side protection. M-fix sl is a budget version of M-fix with less features.

So what is the whole point of isofix if it is identical to the seatbelt installation :))?!

It's not. Isofix insures that in a crash the seat cannot slip off the seatbench with your child. The seatbelt only has to hold the child in place while without Isofix it has to hold the seat in place, too. 😊
