Honestly, even if I could get this surgery, I don't expect it to solve all of my problems. I feel like being at least a few inches taller would make me feel a bit more empowered, but as we all know, limb lengthening takes a lot of time and work, and not all of my problems are even about my height.
@joelentrup66582 жыл бұрын
Also, another myth I think you left out is how Limb Lengthening is an extremely risky procedure. The truth is that EVERY surgery has it's set of risks associated with it. Limb Lengthening is no different, but the risk is greatly exaggerated. Don't know if this is correct, but I read on a medical website that it had a 95% success rate, at least for cosmetic purposes. True that not every patient will be free of complications, as you mentioned in the video, that doesn't mean it's likely. For most, the risks are worth it because of how our height depresses us on a daily basis.

@gj91572 жыл бұрын
True, this surgery has its risks like any other, but isn't nearly as "dangerous" as people like to claim it is. The common misconception this procedure gets is usually due to Indian doctors who perform the same surgery with outdated methods like the (ilizarov frames). So many people are unaware of all the other methods we have now that garner far less complications rates.

It‘s a pretty massive surgery though but of course miles less severe than heart or brain surgery. But I‘d say I rather have this than a Roux Y bypass or something on that level. (Even though risks might be on a similar level) (E:/ keep in mind for LL you are pretty long under anaesthesia in comparison to other surgeries)

Hey Victor, I've been reading some online diaries on Dr. Betz and a lot of people seemed to be complaining of broken nails and resulting complications from that. I'm still researching and I think the Betz nail is a good option as I value weight-bearing capability, but do you know anything about the success or complication rate with the Betz nail?

I don't have enough info to go off of like pictures or other measurements but even then it probably would fall between 3-4 inches or 8-10 cm over two lengthenings as your arms and height are pretty much even so you should be okay

hi, i'm posting this possible alternative for limb lengthening to gain height. using hyaluronic acid in your legs Step one. using hyaluronic acid as heels. 2cm Inject hyaluronic acid knee. 1.5cm to 2cm inject hyaluronic acid in your spine. 2cm We are increasing the volume of our cartilage to get 5 cm to ur height. No recovery time need It can be reversible if you dont like less expensive It is just a teory, because ive seen how people gain heigh with this, but is not oficial. and all procesures are separates. my idea is to use all of them to get a more cheaper option. Thanks if you can reply of suggest somethig to this teory
