True, but most people can't afford, or justify paying more than 20x the price of this little tool. If you only occasionally need to custom-cut spokes, then this spoke threader is just fine.

This is a no-go for professional wheelbuilders, since it takes ages to rethread a set of spokes. And the rolling heads wear out too quickly. Not worth the money they ask.

Hi I got an old spoke threading machine on ebay. Its a different design. Im wanting to fit a Cyclo 14g spoke thread rolling head to it. But I cant find the shaft diameter details. My machine has a 9.5mm shaft. I guess thats 3/8"
