I'm a Harley Guy. But I would love to see this Man win a National Championship!

He did a couple years ago it only took him 28 years too do it because all the top guys broke all weekend and he leases his motor from byran hines each race.

@@lesblack8036 Pretty sure that's not accurate. He's won 6 national events but has never been the champion at season's end.

@paulmazzola3983 жыл бұрын
Steve isn't a hobby racer. He's a racers racer! Matt Smith is arrogant person born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Steve is down to earth person had a chance to meet him at Englishtown many years ago and see behind ropes of his pit.

Sponsorship ???? I am sure many think that everything paid for by a Sponsor is great. The Not so great part is the amount of time an effort required to get a Decent Sponsor. Decent meaning ? Someone who will pay most of your bills so you can go racing. The downside to Sponsorship most don't think about is the amount of time it takes to get a Good Sponsor plus Keep that Sponsor. Serious Sponsor money usually means serious hours of input to work with the Sponsor. Some require you to be at certain events for them to gain maximum exposure. Which also means you Need to be prepared to be there like or Not ???? Even IF that means travelling all night to get there and set up. Somewhere in the middle of All this you need to find time to actually race. Personal life is put on hold and other sacrifices need to be made also. But without Sponsors you run a very lean racing session. The other thing that can happen is ? A Sponsor can simply decide they don't want to work with you anymore ???? In some cases you might have multiple Sponsors which require you to do different things for them just to get and keep their Sponsorship. Not as easy as it might seem. But it's Always like that ? Things always look much better from outside looking in ??
