Something about a v-twin engine's exhaust note that does absolutely nothing for me. I'll take a good high revving 4-cylinder engine anytime, or a 3-cylinder 2-stroke! V-twins came on strong because NHRA and other sanctioning bodies gave them a HUGE displacement break, allowing up to 160 cubic inches in NHRA, for example, as opposed to 107/113 cubic inches for 4-cylinder bikes.
@koolsolutionszx12r554 жыл бұрын
You are 110% correct. It didn't hurt that Terry Vance writes the rule book for NHRA pro stock bike class. Willy G knew when they hired V&H Racing they were not only getting arguably the most talented man to ever own a wrench set in Byron Hines. They were getting something much more needed in Terry Vance being able to green light anything Byron needed in order to make the junk HD engine configuration run. Need more displacement? CHECK! Need billet one off illegal parts? CHECK! Need one off illegal body panels? CHECK! Need the competition to be hobbled by one sided rule application? CHECK! NOW COMES 2021 and Willy G's pockets have run dry.. What does Terry Vance and his group of cheaters do? They build a new 4 valve billet Suzuki head that Terry automatically GREEN LIGHTS in the rule book. Isn't that special? People if you don't boycott NHRA PSB and force them to remove Terry Vance as the rules god they'll never be beaten. This is nothing but Game Stop right in your face. No one else but their cronies are allowed to make money.

Wouldn’t it make sense to give them a displacement advantage since they are down two cylinders?
@ejohnson38374 жыл бұрын
@@dragoonTT Of course it does to make pairity, But, the H.D. Make more horsepower , not the same as the Suzuki. They should only be allowed the cubes to make the same H.P. Been this way for too long.

The Chris Bostic interview is the best I have ever seen you do. I enjoyed it very much, as well as the information provided much insight and was intensely thought stimulating, with regard to watching Pro Stock Motorcycle racing from now on The difference between this interview and others, is that you did not attempt to dominate with your personality and the interspersed burst of attempted excitement. Chris Economacki would be proud to recognize you as a journalist if he would have been able to watch this episode. I will look for more like this from you. It is the only NHRA racing I will continue to watch. It is real, and I hope you continue to relate to each of us, this realness, no fake hype. It is slowly reaching the level of Moto GP excitement! Thank you

The vtwins/Harleys came on string because they (V&H Screamin' Eagle) lobbied the NHRA to change the rules to make them competitive.

I’m not clear with Angie’s answer! It looked like the front wheel wasn’t solidly connected with the handlebar or the steering dampener was loose by the way it was isolating back-and-forth.
