I am so happy,I have found this.I remember I came back from school early,I was just 11 years old...and I was extremely proud of Polish Team.... actually I remember I thought we won it....and when my father came back from work....I told him....we won Olympic games hahaha 😂.... still remember this moment.

How did the US not win🙄, the only team with TT bars on, the aero gains were massive.

The other teams were strongest, if the other teams had tt bars the average speed had been even higher.

Met 2 cool Polish guys in France 1984,they were riding for ACBB they had got permission to leave Poland for preparation for the Olympics.They told me alot about life in Poland during that time,and the main reason they were in France.Dont know if this happened or i dreamed it but i was told one of them got his bike over the rails on the Champs Elysees during the 1984 tour de France and road to the finish in the leading bunch. Now and again I wonder how they are and if they ever achieved their main dream of getting to France
