Good stuff Bruce! Repairing the bike on the road happens, trust me, I've had to had to do a few roadside repairs during our years on the road. Try filtering water from the mighty Suwannee River! It looks like tea, but taste ok and we normally just use it for cooking and coffee. Another great place to find potable water while out cycle touring is a cemetery. Also, knocking on someone's door and asking if you can get some water is another idea. Happy Cycling ~Ron & Petra

Bruce, what happened to you? Did you finish your ride? We met you at a campground on the GAP trail near Pittsburgh. We've been following your adventures and wonder how things turned out.

Hi Erin, the adventure was awesome and I made it to the end with no major problems. The videos are behind, but I hope to have one per week until I reach the Santa Monica Pier

How do you search for campgrounds in the area?
@brucebikesamerica26987 ай бұрын
Much of the route I used my Adventure Cycling map, but also Google when I had cell coverage or I knew a large state park was about the right distance. I usually didn't start planning until late in the afternoon, but only had to wild camp a couple times.
