These 4 videos of your RTW trip were absolutely brilliant to watch. It probably seems like a lifetime ago already but congrats on an epic trip and capturing it so well. Happy cycling!

This is seriously impressive, David. This obviously deserves way more views, but not to worry. Your day with the algorithm will come. You are such an inspiration, mate!

Well done David. Very inspiring. Quick question; how did you go about sorting visas? Like ; just apply at the borders ?

Amazing series, what advice would you give to anyone that wants to try very long distance trips like this with bicycle, what are the things to plan and look out for ?

Have strong reasons for going, otherwise you'll want to come home as soon as it inevitably gets hard!

Super impressive David. You rode right past a restaurant in Montenegro I went to 2 years ago! I was wondering how you managed the local currency changes on your trip. I presume you couldn't use a credit card everywhere, so had to get local currency at times. Was this easy to exchange as you went between countries, or did you end up having to take a bit of a financial "hit" on this from a logistical perspective?

I always made sure to have some USD$ on me, as most people will exchange / take it, but also used a card without international transaction costs. Otherwise it was a case of just trying to find the most reasonable rate for currency conversion, and try not to exchange too much! Only between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, and between Albanian Lek and Euro was where I lost a noticeable amount.
