I always wanted to cycle to Nordkapp. But there were all the horror stories about cold, rain, murderous mosquitoes and last but not least the nightmare of the Nordkapp tunnel.
At some point I had enough of it, got the necessary equipment, roughly planned the route and just went for it.
What can I say? It was certainly not the warmest year in the north, but that does not hurt when cycling! Only the wind was partly unpleasant. The mosquitoes were rather harmless during the ride, otherwise there is Autan, etc.. Yes, the North Cape tunnel was an interesting change. If you pass it in the (early) morning, there is hardly any disturbing traffic. If necessary, you can also bypass it by using the Hurtigrute or a public bus.
So: From my point of view, the tour was a complete success and can be recommended to every cyclist who likes to be out in nature.
