Back in 1980, I spent a year bicycling through the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It's always great to hear from other world cyclists. Since then, I've had the pleasure of meeting and hearing from so many other cyclists who have toured the world. Even though it's been over forty years since I did my tour, I have great memories and love to hear of others doing it! One question I would like to ask is if you feel that the world is still a safe place to experience on two wheels?

You will have wonderful memories . My greatest memories aged 61 years are of 5000 miles of cycling across Europe in 1986 to 1987. The landscapes and the sense of freedom are always with me.

Last year my wife me got stuck in Thailand for seven months and I probably watched all of your videos a couple of times, it was great to see the nice couple traveling over countries and meeting so many situations, I loved it and every now and then still watch again, congratulations for the nice work and videos you put for us.

i am so grateful to live in America. being able to adventure a seamlessly endless landscape without fear of borders, for the most part its safe, we got our crazies here but nothing like some of these countries i see cyclists go through. i couldn't imagine having to cross border after border for a sense of freedom.

So great to see this video and your adventure. You both are really athletes to be going through such rugged country and so many great experiences! I will be going the other directions, I hope, with an ebike. To keep going I'll have to do a lot of peddle assist and find less rugged roads, but such beautiful places! This is the 2nd. time I have watched this video. It made a BIG impression the first time. This time I watched even more closely and listened even more carefully. The camera work and the editing are superb. The sound editing is top-notch too. Thank you. In 1997 my wife and I travelled throughout Nederland together with her father, his best friend from childhood, our son and our nephew. We travelled on fietzpads her father had ridden back when he was a boy in the '40s. At 70 I keep on riding, camping, exploring and meeting new people. Best lifestyle.

At 12:50 you are in a hazelnut orchard. And the shotgun-like sound is a system to keep wild boars away from the orchard. It uses a propane tank and blows constantly. You didn't have to worry. My people lives around there. And my people are peaceful.
