Back in 2018 we started our World Cycling Tour to the Far East. We were incredibly excited to go but also a bit anxious to be leaving home for possibly two years or more. With many wonderful encounters along the way, amazing landscapes, wild camping and cooking our own meals, we still missed our family and friends but discovered a world full of hospitality and wonders. I cycled 6000km in Japan in 2019 with my girlfriend. It was hard, tiring, rainy, but also beautiful, enlightening, confronting. Your film made me wanna jump back on the bike and take off to anywhere. Thank you so much.

Back in 1980, I spent a year bicycling through the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It's always great to hear from other world cyclists. Since then, I've had the pleasure of meeting and hearing from so many other cyclists who have toured the world. Even though it's been over forty years since I did my tour, I have great memories and love to hear of others doing it! One question I would like to ask is if you feel that the world is still a safe place to experience on two wheels?

So great to see this video and your adventure. You both are really athletes to be going through such rugged country and so many great experiences! I will be going the other directions, I hope, with an ebike. To keep going I'll have to do a lot of peddle assist and find less rugged roads, but such beautiful places! Truly awesome video guys - great commentary and fantastic footage with amazing effects and angles. I have watched A LOT OF cycle touring vids and this would have to be one of the best. I look forward to seeing how the next year pans out. I started to get excited when i saw where you were crossing into Iran, the same place i did about two years ago, I was hoping to see where you went there but it looked like you just did a snippet of Iran - well worth a longer time "next time" lol!! There's something about you Dutch - i think maybe every second cyclist i saw in Iran was Dutch. A Dutch motorcyclist made my trip so much easier by giving me hints and suggesting a few apps that I would have really suffered without in Doğubeyazıt, and i hung with a Dutch couple in Yazd for a few days which was great fun.
