Cycling from Poitiers to St. Cirq Lapopie | Euro Bicycle Tour

We cycled back to the Loire to visit the beautiful Chenonceaux and ended up staying an extra night after a bit of a false start due to some tendentious!
The weather was fantastic as we set out to Poitiers to visit Liliana's brother and his family. That was the last obligatory visit we had to make sure we did in France, after that we were free to make it up as we went a long.
We journeyed south into Dordogne, visiting beautiful towns, eating good food and falling in love with dogs. After a visit to Rocamadour, we continued south to the Lot River, where we'd stop at Saint Cirq Lapopie.
Cycle touring in France is a total dream in the Occitane region!
In 2018 we did our biggest bicycle tour from Paris to Athens over 6 months. It was a big adventure that we'll never forget, this series documents the trip as we travelled across Europe on big badass fully loaded touring bikes.
