Where did you get your little stove?…I am going outer Hebrides end August….loving your videos 👍
@YAMSWORLD2 жыл бұрын
It's a Swedish stove thing called a Trangia, got it from amazon I believe. It worked really well for us, not as fast as a gas burner for heating water but works just as well. It uses methylated spirits which is usually purple and available in camping and DIY shops. We were able to find it all over Europe but not always the easiest, defo found some in the hebrides too. Great if you like cooking, and light and easy to clean.

A route called "via transilvanica" opened up. It goes through rural villages, near monuments, castles, medieval churches, mounrtain trails from the southwest at the Decebal rock statue up until northeast at a monastery. It could be worth checking some parts of it out for a bike tour.

I have the Helium 400 in regular size (192cm) and I am 186 cm. It just about fits but there is not much room left. Its target is to be as light as possible so it will be a snug fit anyways regarding width.

"Kissing pictures" is an Orthodox Christian way of admiring their holy icons of saints. It's a religious and a cultural thing. Some ignorant people might consider it gross, even in "pre-c0v1d times". No wonder your channel never took off. You're a spoiled millennial little boy... Good riddance!

A while ago, but really interesting. Well done for showing some of your 'embarrassing footage' - we've all done that (and still do it)!!. You are of course correct about the space it takes. I did a little trip around suffolk, and although I had a gopro + mounts I didn't take it. Used that space for cheese, wine and cider.

Hey, thinking of doing similar tour soon (only Balkan - starting from Zagreb). Is it possible to find somewhere your route…?
@YAMSWORLD2 жыл бұрын
There's no where with specifics but we travelled east from Zagreb along a very long (boring road to reach the Danube which we followed through Serbia right to Romania, we stayed near the mountains but crossed over the Transfagarasan pass intro transilvania, then from Târgu Secuiesc we pass back over the mountains east and travelled to Braila, from there we followed the coast to Varna in Bulgaria. Then we followed the Balkan mountains through places like Kotel, Elena, Gabrovo, eventually joining the Iskar river which we took to Sofia. After that we stayed in the hills and went south to Greece, passin the border near Exochi. Hope that helps! Romania and Bulgaria mountains were great. Lots of fresh water coming out the hills to keep you cool and hydrated!

How come you can feature full songs and other vloggers are panickjng if even a snippet of music appears in their videos?
@YAMSWORLD2 жыл бұрын
My channel isn't monetised so there's no issue if the videos get copyright infringement which all of this series did. KZbin allows you to keep the video up and I think can out ads on your video and the money goes to the music publisher. It would only be an issue if I was doing this full time and for main income

I saw in another video (about a recipe from the same book, using blueberries!) that if you don't use organic ones, there may well not be enough of the good bacteria on the fruits of the skins to get the reaction going properly. So that would have allowed a window of time for other microbes to take hold.
@YAMSWORLD2 жыл бұрын
Thinking back on making this, it was such a bad attempt that it's no real surprise it was such a fail. Hopefully next year there a good harvest of plums from my dad's tree to try again! And that would certainly be organic :)
