Judge is in session: I did some video forensics (watched it again) and concluded that Kyde is right, she popped the top of the yoghurt bottle, handed it to Eric and Eric fished up the cap thingy and thus incurred the stickage on the spoon and later his fingers. Kyde is in the clear.

I watched your videos as a kid I’m 18 now and finally found your videos again. I suffer from persistent depression disorder since I was a kid, I expected the worst when trying to find your guys page again (thinking you guys might’ve spilt) so happy to see you guys together and happy. Your videos truly helped me feel better as a kid and still do, I hope you guys see this and if so you guys are incredible and I owe you guys a big thank you for getting me through tough times !🤍

Glad to be even a little help when things are tough, I know exactly what you mean about that, I have my "comfort music" or "comfort shows" I watch when I'm not feeling awesome. It's wild that we are that to some people. Thanks for the kind message, by the way! -E

That edwardian strongman tash is coming on a real treat Eric... and after a swift google cash conversion a large pizza from Papajohns here in the UK (no offers) will set you back 3600 yen :o Anyhoo, thanks again for another episode of the great cyclathon around a body of water.

Watched the first half of the video, fabulous, gonna have to watch the second half tomorrow. “I’m always down with a hard noodle.” I was going to poke fun at Eric for saying “kilomometer” or “just the tip”, but that “that’s what she said” reference was L O L. Another comment coming later on the second half of the video. Cheers K&E.

Chicago is a Kansai pizza chain, actually it was the closest pizza shop to my Apartment in Kyoto. Even though I walked by it on my way to the grocery store, just the prices and style of pizza I never got a pizza from there. The only reason I ever got Dominoes is because they had 50% off coupons, so pizza was 1500 yen instead of 3000 yen. Also liked the fact that the Dominoes website has a English version which is easy to order off of.

Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld ARE friends. :P When Seinfeld went back to standup after doing the sitcom he did a documentary and there was a part there where he was just hanging out with Chris Rock at the Comedy Cellar, I think. Lots of laughs on this episode! About the Miami log cabin, it could be a reference to the Miami nation centered in Indiana and Ohio where log cabins are still quite common. These people were later pushed down to Florida, but so few of them survived they lived on only in name.

My understanding of Japanese food etiquette is very limited. However, for communal items, like the umeboshi, I was taught to turn the chopsticks around and use … just the tip. The opposite ends of the chopsticks that weren’t in your mouth, to bring the items to your plate/bowl. Then flip them back to eat again.
@kydeanderic
@kydeanderic 3 жыл бұрын
Yea, this is common if you are with people at like a drinking party or something, but for them not to have a way to get something out of a communal jar like that is pretty odd, especially during these trying times. -E
@andrewn4343
@andrewn4343 3 жыл бұрын
@@kydeanderic There is definitely a dichotomy in the way the world thinks right now. A steep learning curve for sure. They disinfect the table and chairs, but have individuals use their hands to lift the jar lid and have no one-time disposable utensil to distribute items, I agree is in opposition. Here in BC Canada it was the same thing. No fast food self-serve drinking stations anymore, the servers fill it for you behind the counter. Turn around and use your hands to grab individual packets of ketchup, pepper, etc. from the tubs. Touching packets others have touched and now one touched other adjacent packets trying to get theirs. Sit down and use those hands to eat a burger and fries. However, the table and chair have been wiped for sterilization. It has improved significantly since service industries have reopened recently, so there’s that.
