Cycling in Maui - Haleakala "The World's Longest Paved Climb"

Well done! What an epic climb. I tried this a few years ago but my rental bike didn't have low enough gears and there was a nasty headwind that day. I've ridden up the Stelvio, Mt. Evans and Pikes Peak so I know Mt. Haleakala is doable. I'll bring my own bike next time. Cheers!

What paper did you show the ranger? Did you prepay the park entrance fee?

We had driven up the day before and the pass is good for 3 days so I was able to re-use it.
