The city is really nice, except the fact that the cycling infrastructure is catastrophically bad for a city that is “futuristic”

I disagree especially your “catastrophically” part. There are areas to be improved but not bad at all.

@@rider2731Nothing is worse than mega avenues filled with cars going at 70 km/h, not even painted bike lanes in most places, no lights for bicycles, cars parked on the road, mega intersections that are infinitely dangerous and inefficient, and the list goes on...

Why are you talking utter nonsense? Sounds like you've never been to SZ,or if yo did you never left some densely packed old part of Luohu near the border with HK. The pavements in most areas of Futian and NAnshan and BAo'an are more than wide enough for bicycles and there are plenty of bicyle lanes.

@@DAMONDENG9527 Always something under construction? In a city larger than Greater London. I should hope so. Maybe you'd prefer delapidation like in the US.
