Fab stuff as usual 👌 Daz and shout out to Andy for someone getting their legs back he appeared to smash what was a rather demanding route. I know it well. Mam Nick and the Edale Valley loop road with the train track along side the road for most of it is real fun and the valley feels like a hidden world almost. Mam Nick is a super climb out of the valley and oft in the shadow of its bigger brother Winnat's Pass. I've been out of action since being hospitalised late July with extreme sudden double vision in my left eye (Ocular Third Nerve Palsy) home now and no pain but signed off work and the bikes is no fun at all and getting extreme cabin fever and dip in my mental health, balance and energy levels and your videos are the nearest thing to being in the saddle and are a mahoosive pick me up of virtual dopamine & serotonin . I also had to cancel a cycle packing tour of Holland too due to my current malaise. There was an annoying old git in the hospital bed next to me who strangely never shut up all night with his daft voices and crude jokes. Reminded me a little of Mike but don't tell him. Chapeau Lads! And keep the vids coming

First and foremost Grant I am so sorry to hear of this news and can I wish you all the best with your health and well being at this current time. It's never easy being left in a predicament where the light at the end of the tunnel seems to remain in the distance when all you want to do is get through it as soon as possible. Can I thank you also for sharing your current circumstances with regards to what you are going through and for your kind words about the cycling videos which we put out there for everyone to watch and enjoy. Your comments are greatly appreciated and I hope you are able to get out there on a bike at some stage and get that "Sensory kick"we all love about cycling . On this ride Andy really pushed on and it was great to ride along side him once again. You can't beat a trip out to these parts and I am sure we will return here for future rides. Take care my friend and best wishes from myself and all the gang.

Top video Daz chapeau to all 3 of you 💪💪💪👏👏👏🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️ nice to see Andy is on the same page as you with the scones jam on top 😁 the speeds you do on the desents are mind blowing, I fell off after a blow out early last year doing 32 mph so I'm always a bit tentative on desents now 🙄. Interesting to see the difference between Mike and Andy's cadence styles on the climbs. Well done 👏 👍
@MrDazP1adv3ntures2 жыл бұрын
Hello Steve, Mike tends to go up every climb on the big ring whereas me and Andy will turn a lighter gear over. As for the descents, it is a big dynamic risk assessment that you are continually tweaking. Anything over 45mph though starts to get interesting. It's always nice to get to the bottom of a big hill in one piece . Andy is a very good descender and on the next video he hits 58mph ! Jam on top always too......

Great video as always in gorgeous countryside. The jam/cream debate splits two counties. If your Cornish it’s jam first cream second (Mike’s not from Cornwall 😂😂), other way around, cream first, jam second is the Devon way!! Personally I think the Devon way is best… although what do I know as a Londoner!! Keep making the videos Daz, they’re great.
