You are an absolute legend. Been binge watching all your videos, really loving the cycling and hiking. Not keen on running but while watching your previous run, it gave me runners high haha. Love the fact that you give a guided tour of all the routes you take and a bit of info regarding various spots, really adds value to your content. Looking forward to watching more of your content so please keep soldiering on, doing what you do. Amazing..!! Thank you so much. Very inspiring and motivational to watch...

What a glorious day Dean. Thanks for taking us on a tour to remind us how stunning the Peak District it is. This weekend was the most I’ve missed the Peak District since the latest lockdown started. The first signs of spring are always the best time of year for me 🙂

Loved this video Dean. I went on a great 16 miler yesterday starting at Bamford through to Crook Hill and across to Rowlee Pasture and Alport Castles. Then dropped down Birchinlee to Howden and walked back past Derwent and Ladybower. It’s the first time I’ve ever visited Howden with it being the furthest away but I was in awe of how stunning it is. It’s definitely the prettiest of the three! They definitely saved the best for last there. I know what you mean though about noise and people not taking care of the surroundings. As I walked back, I could hear lots of shouting and general noise but I could see a soul. It was pretty late in the day though. If I’d had more time I would’ve loved to have explored Howden a little more but it wasn’t to be yesterday. Your video has shown me a little more of it and gave me some ideas for my next exploration. It’s such a beautiful place! Thankyou. 🙂 Hope to see another vid soon. Take care. Oh and Sean Paul... 😂🤣🤭

Great to see another video, especially a cycling one. I wonder if there is a MAMIL bell curve of cycling interest, because I'm just on the downward curve of interest in cycling as I age, and want to go slower and just go for a walk in the hills (I miss those hills!)

Good stuff Dean. Surprised at the number of cars that were out. Thought we were supposed to be exercising from home during lockdown, not driving somewhere and having a day out in the Peak District. Here he is! How good was this weekend weather wise? As you say it really felt like the first day of Spring! The contrast in how busy Ladybower was over the weekend to the past 2-3 months was incredible but as you say, you can't blame them. Small world that we went past each other, hopefully next time we can fully catch up.

Fascinating and quite revealing of the different regulations that are being applied in England and Wales where I live. In Wales we have a very strict lockdown still with no sign as yet as to when were being released on parole! I was out locally on my bike where I live in NE Wales, for over three hours yesterday.Including a circuit of the popular tourist lake of Llyn Brenig which like Ladybower is normally teeming with walkers, cyclists and fishermen. In all the time I was out I didn't see a single soul and that's not an exaggeration for dramatic effect. I literally didn't see anyone, despite the glorious blue skies. Its pretty gobsmacking then to see all those people packed into the Peaks and all that traffic. I thought Derbyshire in particular were pretty strict on lockdown regs? Obviously not! I'm not saying they should be mind. I think people should be able to enjoy the great outdoors and drive there to get their fix if they have to.
