Thank you for this great vlog Jasper, steep ride in an amazing landscape. Cycling in Hong Kong doesn't look like a pleasant experience (read - traffic, buses, Sunday's drivers and high pollution). One must be a couch potato of a civil servant to issue a rule that forces cyclists to remove their front wheels to access to the train. With both hands busy, how do you pull out your pass or ticket? Looking forward to your next post.

While I was watching this video it suggested watching the blood lactate FTP test video. It occurred to me that the blood lactate test was actually much harder than the first test and they measured FTP two different ways. So, it's no surprise that you would get a different result. I don't know which test would give you the most accurate result. But, because they're different I wouldn't worry too much about establishing overall fitness. Unless you took the same test as before and got a lower result. Make sense?
