This brings exciting memories of my childhood in 1988 when I received a new BMX Goffa Firebird bicycle, which I was eyeing at a store in Manhattan prior. Afterwards, I took it home via the subway -- the 4 train to Moshulu Park and Jerome Ave.

This is ANOTHER great cycling video. 👍👍👍 Great job!! Seeing all of the cyclists who disobey the rules, run red lights and go the wrong way, it's no wonder so many are hit or killed. I hope NYC is really serious about making it safer for all involved. It seems like a very fun way to see the city. ☺

In this master work, you cycle through NYC on a bicycle and give us many inside glimpses of the city's scenics and atmospherics. Hi ActionKid like always your videos are great 👍. My daughter used to live and worked in the lower Manhattan (TriBeCa) on Reead st and west broadway. I been in New York City about three times and I love it 😍, despite the downturn and negative comments about the city, New York City is Majestic!!!😎👍👍❤️. If I would have enough money 💰 i would buy me a place in the city 😀. I am from Southern California which is nice to live, but if I can afford to live in New York City I would not hesitate to live there. Is more fun and things to do, it's just different City.

I'm fascinated at how what must be your sense of responsibility to your viewers triumphs over common sense and leads you to battle miles of traffic on a bike when there's no need to do so. The only effective redesign of the traffic pattern in central Manhattan would be to restrict motor traffic to emergency vehicles at all times and delivery vehicles during a few night or early-morning hours. With that done, bike traffic might be easier dealt with. Buses might have to stop at the borders, and the office-workers on board would need to walk into the restricted area. This plan or a similar one is or was implemented in London, though I haven't been there to see its effect. Cab drivers and messengers were complaining about breathing auto exhaust all the time.

As exhilarating as this ride was, I think I prefer the walks for two reasons: slower and more detailed looks at the passing scenery, with your interesting background comments; and fewer instances of inconsiderate or negligent behavior by fellow humans. Also, I favorite a lot of places that you mention on your walks on Google Maps as "want to go." Nonetheless, this was highly entertaining and I'm sure I'll watch it again and see new things.

Great video! And as a new Yorker born and raised, we already have complained about them putting waste dumpsters for the Garbage. And the acessive amount of unnecessary scaffoldings, sidewalk sheds it's out of control! It's one thing to have them up if they're under construction or building. But a lot of times it's just the landlords being absolutely lazy and not doing maintenance on their buildings. There is absolutely no need for those green eyesores to be covering up and ruining the landscaping of the city for years! The building owners need to be heavily fined and remove them not keep them up for 5 to 20 yrs. We will continue to fight together with the city council, until they remove the thousands that are put up there and stay for years for no reason but Greed and laziness. But Awesome video. Lol
