Cycling the Isle of Wight Randonnee

We’ve ridden off road around the Island in September the 3 years as well as the Randonnee, always had better weather in September

Thanks for the comment and totally agree on the weather, that's 2 years of mixed rain and cloud. Later in the year would certainly give us a better chance at dry weather.

I'm lucky enough to live here and cycle these roads on a regular basis. You sum up the island perfectly. Glad you enjoyed your day

That's great; you have just about every type of road type in one space. Certainly, enough variation to make for a nice full day of riding. I bumped into a local rider called Stuart in the morning and he was enjoying the island lifestyle and cycling into retirement.
