Hi Guys! Hope you enjoy the video! I know this has been attempted before, I'm not saying I'm the first person to ride a boris bike up alpe d'huez, but I'm PREEETTTY sure I'm the first to do it in under 24 hours... (the guys who did it for charity were just over the time limit). Anyway, let me know if you have anymore crazy ideas, and if they're crazy or random enough, I'll do it 😉 peace! ✌️

The best part about all of this is that the person who got on the bike the following day had absolutely no idea what that bike had been used for the day before! Love the channel, glad I stumbled across it!

I will never ever complain about Boris bikes again. You've proven how robust, speedy, lightweight, aerodynamic, comfortable and stylish these little monsters really are... erm, sort of! Brilliant adventure Cam and very funny too. It really made my day watching this. A shout out to the other 2 guys along with you. Nice One lads!

I thought the same (like 1 spot left, they needed 2), but there's always another dock, plus you flag it and get a time extension. TFL is not out there to "hurt" you(r wallet) for no fault of your own. ;)

The first time I ever went on a road bike I cycled up alpe d'huez on a hired bike for a dare. I made it. It hurt a lot. I bought a road bike as soon as I got back to England and haven't looked back since.... Great video Cam!

0:36 is Grindelwald in Switzerland, I grew up close to there. The shot is taken from the "Männlichen" Mountain where you also can cycle up by an 18% road.

Biggest killer, financially, in France is those Toll Roads. Last year I did a six day trip on a motorbike and spent £139 on tolls. They are contactless so I didn't realise till I got home - JEEEEEEZ!!!

I don't envy that task - those things are bad enough to use on the flat with those useless gears! I'm yet to find one with a decent bell but finding one with a high serial number usually means it a bit newer albeit may have still been abused - at least yours didn't have any annoying squeaks or cyclic rattles :D Good effort chaps!

Everybody says England has extreme temperatures. Apart from the odd cold/hot spell that never lasts, our average winter temp is usually no less than 5 celcius. We don't know we're born, if it snows, everything comes to a standstill. Not like Scandinavia.

Awesome effort, and kudos for the safety calls. Not wearing a helmet is a problem if you make a habbit of it but its OK for very occasional stints. I dont think a helmet would have helped much there anyway.
