Everyone should be made to do either I.A.M. or RoSPA advanced tests. The beauty of doing RoSPA is they test you regularly, when did you last get tested on your driving?

I once photographed a car user in my country that was using a cyclist-only path which is becoming an increasingly common thing for car users to do due to the physical barriers being gone to stop car users from driving on. Because that way it becomes a shortcut (with the cyclepath on the other end ending in a neighbourhood that also has seen the removal of the barriers to stop them from going anywhere from there) it is attractive to take it, because you cut 3 intersections controlled with traffic lights, and some intersections without. When I had taken the picture of the car, with the driver also not exactly driving cautiously (which is what sets the people who took a wrong turn somewhere and might not be familiar with the neighbourhood there apart superclearly, they tend to have a frightened look on their face like "OMG I'm on a cyclepath, how do I get of!!!" clearly realising they messed up and tend to be driving slowly with their hazards on, or even fully stopped while trying to figure out where they are) I was walking back home and spotted an acquintance and had a little chat, which is when the driver came walking back after having parked his car and everything. He immediately started off aggressively asking "why the f*** you photograph my car!!" at which I responded with something like "Because you are not the first to use this cycle path as a shortcut." Driver: "I took a wrong turn somewhere, I am not familiar with the surroundings!!!" Me: "You know what I don't get? That your outlook on your surroundings is so selective that you manage to miss 3 signs telling you it's going to be cyclists only, you spotted me taking a picture, and for claiming you don't know the roads here were able to pinpoint my exact location in minutes." Driver: "I don't feel it was necessary to take a picture. I was driving supercareful." Me: "No you weren't, and you were doing it on a cycle path." Driver: "Yes but what's the harm in that when I do it cautious!?" Me: "You weren't doing that, and as I said, you are not the first, and telling people they should reverse doesn't help either because they give you the same kind of attitude you are doing now." Driver: "I was being cautious!!!" Me: "On a cyclepath. Shall we call the police so they can explain what you were doing on the cyclepath? I have a very clear picture you know." Driver: "Oh come off your high horse and stop accusing me of a simple mistake!" Me: "Well I'm sorry, but I take it you are the first to immediately call the police if I would make the mistake of driving on the highway with my bicycle now wouldn't you!?" Driver: "That's completely incomparable!" Me: "That's EXACTLY the same, you don't belong on a cycle path, just as I don't belong on a highway, and if you don't like getting a response about your bad driving behavior maybe think twice when showing it." He eventually left shouting insults, it was pretty weird seeing someone being unaccostumed to the roads there being so quick to find me....being capable of ignoring so much traffic signs but being perfectly fine to see me taking a picture of him...

1:49 there’s usually a plain car police patrol parked where that silver or black car is on the left hand side. Not sure if it’s the park police or local police due to the vicinity of Buckingham palace. Shame it looks like they weren’t there on that day or maybe they didn’t want to get involved? If something happens in that area again then cycle down and have a look if they are there.

Majority of your videos I agree with, but this one I don't. If the car park is restricted to NHS staff etc, then that's not a driving offense / any laws being broken. It's a civil matter between the council and driver. You should never be receiving abuse, but it goes out the window when you've provoked the driver.

I get that as a straight white man you are uncomfortable with going forward in prosecuting this as a hate crime but you really should do it if anything like this happens in the future (I really hope it doesn’t!). Do you think a guy like this wouldn’t switch right into racism against a black person if he were in a similar situation where he was in the wrong, he knows he is in the wrong so the only thing left to go for is perceived identity be that the colour of their skin, religion or in your case, accent? He also went in the same breath as calling you a racist and a bully for being South African (it really doesn’t matter that you are not) into homophobic slurs, again this IS hate speech regardless of what your sexuality it. A slap on the wrist does nothing to people like this, a prosecution probably would change nothing about him but then he would have a conviction for hate speech that will potentially put a spanner in his job choices moving forward and would also lead to harsher punishment if he continues his hate speech in the future. Be an ally of those of us that fall into the groups he is so hateful about by not letting in stand even if you are not personally in these groups, it doesn’t make his hate any less and you are not using your ‘privilege’ to make the complaint, that’s not what ‘privilege’ in these context means. Keep up the good work Mikey and have a think on it.
