This was my thing....in the eighties mind you. Still gets the blood flowing. So grateful to be able to watch these...and OK envious. All the decisions: power ride through sand or mud or save 0.002% and run, which line to take through mud....I used to lose a big toenail in Nov/Dec races from the cold and the impact of jumping off the saddle and slamming my toes into the front of the shoe.

Superfast. It was more like a road race than a X race. Thanks for posting.

The first time I saw someone do this in a CX race 26:58. Thank you for the race.

it's ineos there's probably some science behind it

@@user-hc6hu1yw7l Yeah, in the last one he had to pass everyone after a really bad start to finally loose it really close. Ineos may have a saying there, but let's not forget that he's a super pro, he knows his body. Putting that s**t down with no water shows his focus and will.

There's always some guy (@2:22) who sees some room approaching the inside of a turn, doesn't realize or doesn't care it's because the smarter racers were moving over to allow themselves to get through the turn cleanly and quickly, and goes ahead stuffs himself in there anyway and f's it up for himself and everyone else. I'm glad to see that it happens in the pros too!

I find it frustrating that the finishing sprint for the 2nd place was not covered at all, while it was the culmination of the race

Is this the same bridge as the one in Matteo Declerq's promo video? I'm almost 100% sure it is!

This is a cumulative time race over I think 6 races. The cyclist with the lowest time at the end of races wins.
