0:15-0:25 Rapterra's launch track instantly reminded me of this.

It "had airtime on a section that appeared to have nothing but straight track", haha... Wish I could've ridden it, great video. Always sad to see a wooden coaster disappear but at least there's so many great ones still left. Lakeside Cyclone is one of my favorites.

Lakeside Cyclone was intense. I only got a couple of rides on it before they modified the first drop. I remember it doing a number on my ribs, but I was laughing the entire time. Lol.

What a great day that was! We had the park to ourselves and they treated us very well. The Cyclone is definitely the scariest coaster I have ever been on!!!! I was actually worried that it was going to fall apart at any minute!!!!! Thanks for posting that. :) That was an amazing Con! I had a blast!

That really was an amazing Con! I still don't think I have been that scared on a wooden coaster before. The back was insane!!

That was my first Con and the first time visiting those parks, including Knoebels. Out of all the enthusiast-related events I've been to that one probably tops them all! I went back to Williams Grove in 2006 (shorty before they closed) and the Cyclone was even more terrifying. I was scared for my life. I only rode it once that day!

That's good you made it back. I think I only went back once myself.

Good Cyclone POV! It was a very fast paced wooden coaster. :)

Thanks! It had its flaws but it had character that no other coaster had.

Not too sad that I'll never get to ride this.

It was easily one of the scariest wooden coasters I have ever ridden.

Holy crap that's awesome, lol. You can see the cross ties go down a couple of inches on the straight portion in the beginning. Kinda reminds me of Blue Streak at Conneaut Lake.
@SeanFlaharty8 жыл бұрын
It had that Blue Streak feel, but mixed with the feeling of questionable doom thrown in for good measure.

Awomesome pov! I got to rid Shivering Timbers the other week and it was awesome! The helix at the end is force less though.
@SeanFlaharty8 жыл бұрын
Hmmm. I wonder what happened. The helix at the end used to be one of the strongest on any coaster. Then again, I haven't ridden that coaster in over a decade.

0:17 jesus Christ that looked rough as hell
@Coasterkitty78 жыл бұрын
It wasn't rough, but it was very rickety.

how was this?
@SeanFlaharty8 жыл бұрын
Pretty damn scary. Seriously, I was nervous getting on this thing after watching it run.

+Sean Flaharty how? did it look rickety
@SeanFlaharty8 жыл бұрын
Oh yes. The hills weren't shaped correctly. There was airtime on a straight section of track. Some of the supports weren't even touching the track.
@NickyD8 жыл бұрын
that actaully sounds scary

It makes me sad that this coaster is now sitting SBNO. Which brings up a question, how the Hell is it still standing?
