For Someone dont know,His beam is Kinetic Energy,is not Heat Beam but Kinetic can make friction to make some heat.Then it can be reflect with angle or dimension.

I could be wrong but I think it’s a knob that controls the intensity of his optic blast

If I’m not mistaken he has as pressure sensors for the visor also in the gloves of his suit

The dial on his visor determines how intense the blasts he releases are and he also has a button on each glove which opens it so he can shoot hands free.

Imagine if there was some mechanism in the suit, where he could have controlled the beams with his movements of palms or fingers instead of physically using a finger for on/off in his eye gear. He would have been more lethal ❤
